We just dropped a new episode this week but we are super excited to record our NEXT episode as we will be welcoming, author and Queensrÿche historian, Brian Heaton back to the show to talk about Roads to Madness: The Touring History of Queensrÿche and a lot more! COMING SOON!!
Queensryche is one of my favorite bands of all time. I have seen them live 36 times since 1983. I just saw the Origins Tour in Seattle and it was an amazing show. Every iteration of the band has performed live impeccably. I saw the latest Geoff Tate tour and he is till out there "bringing it" to the fans.
It's a great time to be a QR fan. The latest album DNA is great, the Ross Halfin OMC/Empire era book has just been released and the first band bio, Building An Empire came out in October 2022
There is a new limited edition, coffee table book called, The Touring History of Queensryche 1981-1997, The book spans the time that Chris, Michael, Scott, Ed and Geoff play together live, front the early days of The Mob to their last shows together in South America in December of 1997. The book contains photos, tour dates, stage banter and recollections from the fans. The book is available for pre order at nwmetalworxmusic.com.
I can't wait until I have this book in my hands. Thanks for letting me riff a bit, keep cranking my favorite progressive metal band!
