Before starting my first service-based business, overwhelm was my middle name. I was a mom of two school-aged kids and a baby, had a hectic home life, and a spouse who often traveled for work. I found myself constantly complaining, with no time to start my business.
My breakthrough came when I discovered the ABCs of Time Management.
The ABCs of Time Management is an acronym:
A - Accept your time
B - Budget your time
C - Create more time
This essential skill helped me organize tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and balance my personal and professional life. I enhanced my productivity, reduced stress, and achieved more success.

Calling all Aspiring Christian entrepreneurs!
Starting a service-based business rooted in faith is an incredible journey. Here is what helped me embark on my journey.

First, I began seeking God's guidance through prayer. Seeking God has been important because it helped me stay on track with where God was taking me and my business.

Next, I had to Identify the services I was passionate about offering and take them to God. God helped me narrow down the services He knew my future clients needed from me.

Once you identify your services, write your vision but don’t forget to partner with God on this vision.

You also want to develop a brand that communicates your values and commitment to serving others in a way that honors God.

Effective branding will communicate your values. It will help you build genuine relationships with your clients and community. You want to ensure they are receiving the life of Christ through your actions.

It is also important to remember to never stop learning. Your business will only grow as far as you’re willing to learn and grow. Seek God for the direction you need regarding education. And last but not least, serve with a purpose. God calls us to serve. Remember that everything you do, you are doing for the Lord.

It also includes trusting God's wisdom through prayer and seeking His direction, which ensures decisions are guided by faith instead of ever changing trends.

Operating a business God’s way allows you to lead as Jesus did and you do that by serving and prioritizing others needs over our own.

When operating your business, it’s not just about making a profit but it’s about making a positive impact on those who are connected to you.

Starting a business God’s way may bring challenges, but it also brings a deeper sense of purpose, fulfillment, and alignment with His plans.

Are you ready to answer the call to create?

God has plans for each of us and we can’t fulfill those plans without partnering with him.

Partnering with God can look different for all of us, but here are a few steps that I believe will help you on your journey of creating with God:

Surrender: It’s important that you hand your struggles to God and fully surrender everything to Him. Surrendering might be hard, but there's peace and God-sized fulfillment on the other side of surrender.

Submit: That’s right, hand over your vision, plans, and ideas for your business to God. Your best vision, plans, and ideas pale in comparison to His. God can do immeasurably more than you can plan or think.

Accept: What better business partner to have than God? Embrace God’s invitation to work with Him and watch how He blows your mind during the process. Remember, God placed these dreams inside of you and He’s the only one who can truly fulfill them!

Follow: Allowing God to lead, guide, and direct your journey in your business is so refreshing. Following God leaves no room for mistakes. His wisdom will always surpass your understanding.

Seek: This is by far my favorite step. Keep seeking God for a new vision and strategy to grow your business. Don't rely on your understanding. Seeking God consistently will also build your faith in him in other areas of your life.

In December 2017, I heard about the concept of "Liberating Truths" from my role model . Liberating Truths are positive stories or narratives we tell ourselves in our minds. Stories like "I have what it takes to run a business"; "My expertise sets me apart for a promotion"; "I'm not too old to get a job because my experience is valuable to my future employer" e.t.c.
Your belief system whether good or bad controls your will, your actions, and the results you produce in every area of your life. You can overcome limiting beliefs by replacing them with liberating truths. In 2012, I set a goal to start an international personal shopper business. I embraced these 3 liberating truths to overcome my limiting beliefs and start my business.
Liberating Truth #1: “My success and fulfillment in life are not determined by a corporate job.”

Have you experienced the deadly trio in the last 90days? If your answer is yes, you’re not alone.
In the last 90days, I've learned to encourage myself 🤗💕 by:
1. Casting my feelings of disappointment, setback, and rejection upon Christ in me the hope of glory instead of brushing them off.
2. Acknowledging my humanness by realizing I'm not the only one dealing with the deadly trio. Someone somewhere is going through the exact same feeling or a semblance of it. So I need to Chill. I’m not alone.
3. Believing that God causes all things to work together for my good because I love him and I’m called according to His purpose.
I’ve realized as a Christian woman, nothing about my life is left to chance. God is always in control of every detail of my life. Let’s do the math say we:
Disappointment + Rejection + Setback = GOOD
“So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.” 1 Cor 4:16-18 MSG
