The first winner of this season's Edge competitions has just been drawn. Alex Wilson, a 25-year-old bar manager from Cornwall (pictured) has chosen to take the amazing EVOLUTION 2 LA ROSIERE Ecole de Ski & d'Aventure heli-ski trip!
She told us: "I will push myself to be better at off piste so I can do this to the full! I could never afford to do something like this normally so this is seriously once in a lifetime and I'm really excited".

Can you believe it’s coming to the end of another winter season again?! But before it’s all over, we’ve got Subli’Cimes to look forward to.
Last Saturday's Super Slalom went off with a bang! Hopefully you got to see some of it but there was a brilliant festival atmosphere and some really excellent skiing to be seen.

Last Saturday saw the first ever Super Slalom held in La Plagne – 4km course, with 320 gates and 330 participants made for a pretty epic event!
We shouted a quick question at the finish line to Julien Lizeroux, Plagnyard, world champ slalomer and Super Slalom creater. How did he find the Slalom today? "C'est dur, c'est très dur!" It's hard, very hard!!
That's why we bought a beer and supported from the sidelines!
Amazing to see all the super Plagnyards doing the Super Slalom. Tess Lesdeux here getting her ski legs back after racing.
Tomorrow promises something really special for La Plagne. With world class skiers descending on resort to try out the world longest slalom course! The Super Slalom will be kicking off from 9am from the top of the Becoin chair.

Envers inauguration today. Unfortunately that didn't actually mean it opened. Does anyone know when they actually plan to open it?
Today was the inauguration day of the Envers chair lift - big ceremony and everything... but it still doesn't seem to be moving.
So, the question on everyones minds is : 'if a chair lift has been inaugurated but the chairs don't move, is it open??'
