MOMENTARY
includes, melodies, beats, filters, gurgles, bass lines and atmospheric sounds made from a number of acoustic, electric and electronic instruments. I had a palette in mind, but didn’t restrict myself to using the same tool to create the same type of part. And each song explores its own territory while maintaining its connection the whole.

Well, it’s two weeks out from the official digital release of the 12-song Electronic Music Album that I completed during these life-transformative times. Out on imprint—alpharekords, the Album is slated as a digital-only release. With Vinyl, other physical media and custom merch to follow later this year. Honoring on his birthday, May 4. The Haring, pictured here, arrived earlier this year. I find myself staring into the field of interconnected figures that cover the poured concrete floors. Frenetic and calming.

When I think of the humility that we have all had to face being humans for the past couple years, i realize that this time has awakened in me a deep interest and fascination with DNA. I like to think of the album I made, MOMENTARY, as a celebration of life and another way to feel connection. Every single one of us, on the most microscopic level, look the same. We are all born, and will all die; our lives are momentary.
