4years ago today.... A reminder from Google photos.

I was Au- pairing with a lovely family in Amsterdam, to help raise my tuition of £9000 a year. What this meant was, while my coursemates were attending lectures I was making school and grocery runs.

That WAS part of my Process.....

Today, I have a Bachelor of Arts, a lovely family, and a small business. Have I reached my peak? Most certainly not, but I am on my way there.

Lesson: Be patient with Yourself & Trust the process!

A quick one before I hit the gym. How to use Advise vs Advice correctly.

Advise(with an S) is a verb it suggests what should be done or to give information to someone e.g Chuka advised me to learn dutch rather than doing an MBA program.

An Advice (with a C) on the other hand, is a noun, suggesting or recommending what to do e.g Sharon gave Suzan the advice to forgive Johnson.

There you have it. I hope this helps the next time you need to construct an email or simply a post.

It's break time, time for a quick post.

Monday is here again, so many emails, projects, PowerPoint presentations, and posts to create and share. Here are some common English usage and grammatical errors you can avoid.

The use of ONCE VS ONES...

Even with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, I sometimes still make this mistake. Thanks to Uncle Google, I cross-check every communication before sending them out.

Once, has to do with time e.g I brush my teeth once a day or once, I am done with this episode, I will brush my teeth. Whereas, Ones has to do with things e.g You can pick trousers from the ones over.
