in Braemar is a slice of heaven that everyone needs 🌤️ Slow vibes and sweet treats galore - the dream combo!

We ordered the raspberry crumble tart, vanilla cheesecake and a sneaky side of a crispy tart (couldn't resist 👀) - oh, and some reeeeeal good coffee too!

Ordered at 2pm - all gone by 2.12pm 🤤

Post beach walk warm-up 🍕

Working our way down what feels like a neverending stretch of food vendors at Aberdeen Beach and was the latest to be ticked off the list 😍

Next time will be a double pizza order for sure and Ramsay will still not be getting any (no matter how hard he puppy dog eyes us...)

Back on work soil on Saturday spending the day with at our second in-person Startup Accelerator session which once again featured lots of notes, ideas and special guests 💡

One of the special guests being plenty of cinnamon rolls to keep us charged and well fed!

Things are coming together nicely for and there's a character reveal over on the grid if you fancy a peek 👀

The best sandwich in all the land was also followed by the best mug in all the land. Caffeine'd and fed up to my eyeballs - just how I like it 🙌🏼

Always on the money 👌🏼

Booking into for its Aberdeen Restaurant Week menu is starting to become a little bit habitual. But it's a habit I'm never going to try and kick 🤤

We ordered:
🦆 Confit duck roulade with pineapple carpaccic, balsamic chocolate and pistachio crumb
🐟 Hake with chestnut mushroom, mashed potato with tarragon cream
🐖 Local butcher pork belly, red cabbage, gnocchi with a five spice jus

If you have a chance to try out its menu (two courses for £20 and three courses for £25) before restaurant week ends on Sunday, DO IT!

AD | *Warning* Arrive here hungry 🚨

Aberdeen Restaurant Week is back in the city spilling the feel good food feels far and wide across the city 🍴

I got a wee preview ahead of the game at to see what it had in store this year. Spoiler, mammoth portions 👏🏼

Offering a starter and main for a discounted £15, you're not only getting a good deal but a fine feast indeed.

It was a busy day out for Team Fregan with very little food so we were ravenous by the time we arrived and were delighted with a speedy arrival of prawn crackers, followed by prawn spring rolls and duck spring rolls 🍤

With hunger levels now knocked down to 85%, the mains swiftly followed (and saved the restaurant's prawn cracker supply). Rach ordered the Madame Mew's Pad Thai with seafood which you can see (pic two) was no mean feat!

The Kuay-Tiao Tom Yum sweet and spicy soup was a first try for me and I'll be ordering it again. Give me a straw and I'll be sooking up that creamy and tangy coconut soup from now until the end of time 🤤

With our arrival hunger levels at record height, we expected to horse our whole dinner in seconds. Instead, we were defeated with barely a dent put into our dishes.

We got our leftovers boxed up and ready to take home for today's work lunch leftovers. And that my friends is how you make Monday more bearable 💪🏼

Oooh did good discovering this vegan carbonara recipe by . And not just a vegan carbonara, a vegan carbonara that uses courgette as the base for the sauce. Yep, courgette, and I couldn't tell the difference 🤯

Also, how many times can I say vegan? Everyone clear that it's vegan?

I'll be dreaming of this roast every Sunday from now until the end of time 🤤

If you're looking for a roast in London, is your location. Georgian interior giving all the David Copperfield feels with food that trumps your typical pub grub 🙌🏼

Don't worry, you're not served just one roast potato... A bowl arrived and I took the pic mid pile up ⛰️

My healthy eating for 2024 involves plenty of good food 😏

Ticked at Westbrun Park off the eatlist yesterday for a much needed post home-packing refuel. It might have brought on an afternoon slump, but it was worth a few hours set back 📦

Hearty doesn't even cover it 🤤

Wish I could say I've been full to the brim with plenty of festive goods since December 24 but I stared much earlier... I was stuffed to the gunnels at a pre-festives dinner at the with back in November 🍴

The beef stew was just the ticket to warm up on a blustery day the inclusion of dough balls alone was hard to resist! Served with all the veg trimmings, stewed red cabbage and gravy by the gallon, I was well fed indeed.

So well in fact, that there was no room for pudding! a stackable offence in my book 🙅🏻‍♂️

Our order in swipe order:
1️⃣ Beef stew
2️⃣ Haggis pakoras
3️⃣ Arancini
4️⃣ Chilli dog
5️⃣ Beef stew (take two)

All plates as hearty as the last 😍
