Introducing Rajah the Bengal Tiger! This painting has been a labour of love for the last 6 months, and I really hope you guys love him - he's not that far off being lifesize!

💙 confers protection over the species and showcases their incredible vitality 💛🧡 represents golden skin associated with immortality and my hope that we can successfully conserve these incredible Felids.

🐅 Tigers are one of several cat species to love water!
🐅 They first started to evolve around 2 million years ago, around the same time humans did.
🐅 Only a mother and her juvenile offspring live together as a group, the rest of the time Tigers live solitary lives.
🐅 It's reported there are more tigers in captivity in the USA than there are in the wild.
🐅 Tigers cannot purr, but they do roar - in fact, since the 1980's, MGM's famous lion has apparently been lip-syncing to the roar of a tiger!
