THIS IS SO WRONG & SAD 😭 😢 😭

A 70 Year-old woman in the FDA Lofa community was r***d, severely beaten and left unconscious in an attack by as many as three unknown men, who roamed the community in a vicious rampage Wednesday morning at about 11am.

The woman, a 70-year-old lady, was found in the early morning wearing only a bra and backins, her hands bound with her sweatshirt and her mouth gagged. Her body temperature dropped to 80 degrees while she lay bleeding in a puddle for nearly one hour about 10 yards from where she had been set upon and later noticed by community dwellers.

The 70-Year old woman, who was found by community dwellers yesterday morning, is listed in critical condition now at the ELWA with one skull fractures.

The attack was apparently the second of a burst of random assaults by the youths or Gang in that community. That area has not yet seen the vast rehabilitation that has touched many other sections of the community in recent years.

Madam Locus has no memory of the violence she suffered and she's still recovering from a traumatic brain injury.

The Men responsible has not been caught. That's part of the reason some family members agreed to speak with the press.

They don't want another woman suffering like Madam Locus has.
The family also wants to give credit to the community dowellers who they believed saved Madam Locus life — a constable who fought to find her.

They family member is calling on the public for swift intervention and aid this 70-year old woman. They are also calling on the government of Liberia and the Liberian National Police to investigate this matter and have the perpetrators behind bars.😭

Monrovia, September 12, 2023: The Ministry of Justice, through the Joint Security of Liberia, has confirmed that the consignment of boxes it intercepted containing
herbal plants - packaged and in natural form - at the Roberts International Airport reveals a presence of methamphetamine.

As part of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency's investigation, which included scientific examination, samples tested revealed the presence of the illicit drug, which is banned under the rules of United Nations Office of Drugs and Crimes, UNODC.

The Minister of Justice Cllr. Frank Musah Dean Jr. has with immediate effect ordered the Joint Security of Liberia, as well as the LDEA, LNP and the NSA, to expand their investigations on the importation of the illegal drugs with the aim of bringing to justice all those involved.

The public will be duly updated as progress is made on the investigation and in the wider fight against illicit drugs and transnational criminals.

~Gabon has fallen

Army officers have appeared on national television in Gabon to say they have taken power.

They said they were annulling the results of Saturday's election, in which President Ali Bongo was declared the winner.

The electoral commission said Mr Bongo had won just under two-thirds of the votes in an election the opposition argued was fraudulent.

His overthrow would end his family's 53-year hold on power in Gabon.

Twelve soldiers appeared on television on Wednesday, announcing they were cancelling the results of the election and dissolving "all the institutions of the republic".

The Ministry of Labour Inspector General, D Eric Kpayea had chained the main entrance of BOLLORE, a sub-contractor company to ArcelorMittal Liberia that is involved with "Transport and Logistical Services".
The Labour Inspector general took the decision to chain the company's main entrance on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County when he was ordered by Liberia's Labour Minister, Cllr Charles H. Gibson due to the failure of the company's authority to provide labor statistical reports including disrespect to the Ministry of Labour and some violations of the labor law of Liberia.
