Check out this custom blackout pair of AT26 monitors done by .inc for Fahrenheit! We are excited to be an early adopter of these monitors!

I want to extend a huge thank you to Chris and everyone at ThirdEar for creating such incredible speakers! Before, finishing our mixes used to take over three hours and involved checking them on multiple speakers, which only added to the time. But with the ThirdEar speakers, our mix time has been cut by more than half, and we no longer need to reference other speakers. The clarity these speakers provide means that every EQ adjustment is instantly noticeable-something we never experienced with our previous monitors. Additionally, our tracking time has decreased because we can EQ instruments more accurately from the start, reducing the need for extensive post-production tweaks. Out of all the gear we’ve invested in for the studio, the ThirdEar speakers have been by far the best decision, doubling our productivity. ThirdEar has revolutionized our workflow!

Had a great time with Stephen Gibb at his studio in Miami. He has some incredible vintage gear from the Bee Gees old studio, man the history in this studio.

Stephen has a new band called Kill the Robot, the singer Gil Bitton and drummer JP were at the studio and it was great to meet them both. We listened to some of the new songs they have been working on and these are some killer tracks! These guys are awesome! Listen for yourself and let me know what you think. The band guys also had a taste of the new JH Audio Pearl DSP Pack with the 12 driver Ruby In-Ears. All I can say is they can't unhear them 😱and if you have ever heard these things you will understand what I mean. Stephen's comment was "It's like the sound is wrapped around you"

I look forward to getting back to Miami soon to hang with these guys again!

The Neumann M49b mic was the one. Pat Liston slayed the 10 songs and the M49b is now a must have. Only 20k, I think I'll get 2.

Preparing for a vocal session. The Neumann M49 vs the AKG c414. The M49 is one of the most sought after vocal mics but the c414 has a round warm sound characteristic that is very musical. Let's see which one wins. A shout out to Keith Hempen for the M49!

Tracking drums using some new mics from Keith Hempen on our session with Deron Mann.

Using a matched pair of Neumann KM84 mics for overheads and an AKG c414 as room mic. These mics sound so impressive! Keith thanks for playing drums for mic testing last Friday it was fun!
