IT HAS POCKETSESSSSSSSS

working on a full YouTube video tutorial for this cardigan. Tentatively thinking of calling it my "Soft Academia cardigan." It's oversized and snuggly, perfect for throwing on for a cozy curl with a good book

The colorwork is also super easy to memorize. It's the kind of colorwork that I like to do best - not complex, but still varied enough to be interesting. YOU CAN ALSO GAUGE THE CHECKS BY EYE - you don't need a row counter

But folks ... Pls... The pocketses... In a contrast color. My absolute fav part about this cardigan right now

Growing cardigan by , using Heron by . The pattern originally recommends a 4 ply weight - Heron is a worsted weight. I like the thicker, denser fabric it made here. This cardigan is probably my most worn me-made item

And, of course, the cropped jumper is the Coline sweater in BC Garn Bio Shetland 🥰

Ain't she just gorgeous? This is a #testknit for the #primaveralcardigan by #hundredacrewool . The finished cardigan will have that 1x1 cabled ribbing all over, and I'm opting to put in the sweet scalloped button band. I'm using #nutiden #2neg=1pos #unspunyarn for this project. It's a soft, smokey color - grey and brown on first glance, with wispy little threads of red and white. It's my first time knitting with unspun yarn, and I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised thus far. Everyone warned me that the yarn is incredibly fragile, but I've not had it break too often on me yet. Even if it does, you just twist it together into one piece again.
