Silver dollar city campground walk-through. We have had many people ask us about campgrounds we stay at while traveling. I will try to do better about making review/walk through videos to share when asked.
This place is awesome! Clean, relaxing and lots of things to do while at camp. The SDC campground is 4 minute drive to SDC and 10 minutes to the west end of the Branson strip.

We are excited to present our new logo for the first annual Freedom Fest on the Lake event July 2nd-3rd! This 2-day event will be packed full of activities for Heber Springs residents and out-of-town visitors of all ages to enjoy. Friday, July 2nd will begin with the MEC Trap Shoot from 9:00 am-5:00 pm and end with a concert at Sandy Beach from "The Voice" contestants Marybeth Byrd and Cory Jackson from 7:00-9:00 pm.

On Saturday, July 3rd, join us at Sandy Beach for a day full of fun! The World Championship Cardboard Boat Races will begin at 10:00 am at Sandy Beach with a “Video Games” theme. The event will conclude with the always spectacular Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:30 pm over Greers Ferry Lake.

Heber Springs is the place to be Independence Day weekend! From restaurants, antique shops and specialty stores, there is something for everyone. Come eat, shop, play and stay in Heber Springs! We were meant to explore this earth like children do, unhindered by fear, propelled by curiosity and a sense of discovery. Arkansas is filled with wonder.. go out and find it.

It was a beautiful day in Heber Springs for the 1st annual Mid-South Bronco Stampede. Bronco owners from all over the region stampeded the greers ferry lake area, traveling from as far as Kansas City, MO. The event included bronco builds costing upward of $150,000. Be on the lookout for this event next year.

You don't always have to set out on an adventure with a plan, this is a perfect example. We left home for a day trip without an itinerary. Our first stop was at Stoby's restaurant in Conway, AR for breakfast. We will definitely be heading back for more, maybe lunch or dinner. We then headed south to rock town river outfitters. The staff were very friendly and informative. We rented a few bikes and rode them across the big dam bridge (the longest pedestrian and cycling bridge in north America) to a nice park along the Arkansas river. After working up an appetite we headed to downtown little rock for dinner at three fold noodle + dumpling Co. We are glad we stumbled upon this amazing spot. The menu was small and simple, but the meal was big and flavorful. We ended our day at loblolly creamery just a few blocks from three fold noodles. The rock town bourbon ice cream was so good, but the kids would say the Arkansas mud is a crowd pleaser.
