18 YEARS AGO! WOW...

It's unbelievable that I've been part of keeping a human alive this long....

Ms Ani has been our little ms anibobanni so damn long....and now she's an ADULT..wtf ?!?!?

Anika has been an extreme constant for us, always kind, always thoughtful, always looking on the brightside of life. I think we got it right as parents on the first shot.

I love you kiddo

Holy moly....14 years

a lot has changed in that time, and this kid has definitely gone through plenty of changes along the way.

But with each change she's been through, we've been able to see a little bit more of this beautiful butterfly we all know and love as Chelsea, Bear, baby boat, Toby and more to come I'm sure.

She's a firecracker full of life and sometimes way too much energy, but I have no doubts in my mind she will become a leader of some major corporation someday....she's the most no B.S. unfiltered person I know.

She takes us on a wild adventure almost daily, and I'm never ever tired of hearing all the latest scoops from the school yard.

She's is truly awesome

On Saturday, as some of you were aware, I hit the big 4-0, and it was easily one of the best days in the last year.

were on the TV (and won), then I met up with the boys at for a few hours of RISK and I fell in love with a sour beer? (I know, right??!?!?)

Blueberry crumble it was both delicious and dangerous.

We destroyed some perogies and poutine. Making our way back to my place for some old school Magic: The Gathering

As captured the most "magic" moment ever.

I believe it went....

"What does that card do?.....wait it does what?...this one? ......hold on, let me read that...."

This was long overdue, and honestly, we need to keep it up, we took each other for granted too long, and as we get older, we never know how much longer we have with each other.

But I'm gonna make damn sure it's gonna be close to at least 40 more years.....80 years old Flippin each other off and Flippin tables.

Since has been working the afternoon/evening shift I've had to turn into chef dad.....which is honestly way more uber then it should be.

But!!

I think I've finally nailed this Ramen thing!

It was a hit with the munchkins and I even nailed the look I think?

I'm honestly trying to get back to normalcy and seeing the kids genuinely excited for my cooked food was nice tonight.

I know being back to "normal" days will come...and I'm glad my little brats are here at night to ignore me on their devices just like normal 😆
