I can’t express how good it feels to post this! I’ve not owned nor put on any kind of suit in my adult life with the exception of a few tuxedos for my own wedding and friends. I hated every second of how I looked. However, tonight can s a different story. Tonight has proven to me that I’m worthy of wearing a suit and feeling fu***ng confident in a room full of well dressed people. I bought me a suit because I finally felt ready to wear one but most importantly this was me telling myself you’re the fu***ng man! I’ve still got work to do but this is an ultimate NSV for me. This is nearly 260lbs difference and I can finally see it. Success and hard work looks good on me!!

Before I had weight loss surgery I never drank coffee. It wasn’t till after that I think I had some transfer addiction of needing to go through a drive thru so instead of fast food places I at that time picked DD’s

💯 pounds down on keto ⚖️

If you would have told me that I’d lose 100lbs as quick as I did, I’d say you’re full of s**t. This hasn’t been easy and some days it’s not fun. However, it’s what I have to do!

-13lbs for the month and another 5 inches lost.

38lbs away from 300 and 88lbs to Goal I set out to be 250. No plans to stop even when I get there. These goals are milestone markers but not the end all be all as I don’t want to be content with where I’m at ever again. Once I feel like I can stop just cause I hit a number is when I know I’ll start giving up again. I’ve trained my mind which in 42 years has been hard to do that there will never be an end to this!

This journey and my path has been filled with so many ups and downs.

My life’s a combination of my past achievements with a lotta heavy lifting (581lbs) and lotta deep breathing. Lotta courage, lotta doubts, lotta love, lotta luggage with some mixed feelings.

I’ve never forgot about the pain and all the mistreatments.

However I’ll never ever hang it up or stop dreaming. To think I’d ever stop or give up now you’re reaching.

I won’t stop till I feel my 🫁 stop breathing and I won’t stop till I feel my ❤️ stop beating.

⚖️ Monthly Weigh-In ⚖️

Im getting there everyone. To think I was nearly 600lbs at one point and to see where I’m at now. I took charge of the one thing that has beaten me my whole life and I’m crushing it. Still ways to go but so much further above the shoulders and physically then ever before. The weight loss surgery back was just a tool and the magic was gone. These last 5 months have been all me and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. I’m 11lbs away from the lightest I was after my surgery and after gaining almost 100 in the year 2020.

👏🏻PROGRESS IN MOTION👏🏻

A double take as here’s two different poses (make sure to swipe) I tried to match up from this time last year to just this past weekend. This is roughly a year apart. Same exact outfit, however a very different outcome. I’ve always carried a lot of my weight in my stomach area and to see these pics make me understand the word progress.

My passion is golf it releases me from a lot of anxiety and frustrations in my life.

I have to thank my beautiful wife who never ever tells me no when I want to go golfing. She’s knows how much it means to me.

Golf has been a part of my journey and not only am I making progress in my mind & body, but also in my soul.

I’ve learned a lot about myself in the last few months.

The best is yet to come!!

🔥 I FEEL GOOD 🔥

It may not look like much but to me it’s everything. I fell in love with the game of golf after I had my weight loss surgery. I created a YouTube channel and IG to capture my journey with the game of golf. This time last year I was about 45 pounds heavier in the left pic and as you can see my legs were so much swollen. I was not happy with myself. Out on the course was tough even riding in a cart and I dreaded the bad shots where I had to either walk over tough terrain or out of a sand bunker. My golf clothes started getting too tight and I wasn’t happy with myself. Now 45lbs down and over 70lbs since Nov 30th I feel like a million buck and even more so because I’m down over 200lbs from my heaviest. I’ve golfed 2 rounds so far this year and both times things were just easier on me. I had a walk and a swagger out there and damn did I feel good about myself. I think that’s what’s most important is the fact about how I felt both mentally and physically. Although I have a lot of work and goals to get to I know I’m on my way! Happy transformation Tuesday everyone!!

🗓Monthly Weigh-In🗓

I’m clicking and I’m on a high. I want to be 250lbs or lower by 11/30/2021 and I’m determined to get there. No excuses, no bulls**t. Is this easy? Heck no, it’s not meant to be. Am I gonna wine a little along the way? Absolutely....

I’ve been done screwing around and I’ve been done with the super fast it’s gotta happen tomorrow results. This shot is freaking hard. It tears me down but I’ve been getting back up. As I get back up it pushes me down again. It’s been that way my whole life. Part of my own doing cause I’d let it keep pushing me. I’d let it take control.

Not anymore - I know I have the goal of being 250 a year from where I started! The difference now is as long as the scale and my health are moving in the right direction and I’m adding years to my wife then that’s all I care about at the end of the day.

My point is I finally care about taking care of myself. Something I took for granted in the past and overlooked.

I know both of these guys but they I know only one of them is truly happy - guy on the left was at rock bottom with ulcers on both legs and using a walker to get around. This was a pic taken trying to enjoy a daddy daughter dance where I couldn’t even enjoy that special moment with my daughter - Guy was on the right is on a high and living life instead of just breathing. Guy on the right has a different mindset on life, he has goals. To be completely honest he has 🔥 that he’s never had before. The guy on the right finally understands to be patient and to believe in himself. The guy on the right finally loves and wants to take care for f himself. Happy Friday Y’all. A little throw back Thursday to a time where I didn’t care about myself at all. I was going to work stopping at McDonald’s then leaving work stopping at McDonald’s then coming home to then eat dinner with the family. Who knows how many calories I was consuming at that time. However I was smart enough one day to wake up and realize this doesn’t have to be the life for me any longer. I remember snapping this pick of the floor of the passenger side seat in my truck. I keep this as a reminder- I don’t put the picture of me when I was 581lbs on the fridge I just bring this pic up.

🚶🏻The Walk🚶🏻

Man this is bring back tears 😭 of good memories and how far I’ve come. This was many years ago at a conference for what was then called (no longer) I’ve met so many amazing people from this group. Those that are friend to this day. This was a throwback on so many levels as I was so out of my comfort zone and trying to participate in a mile walk that was so hard for me at the time. Plane ride to the conference having to buy two seats to get there. However the fact is I went, I was uncomfortable but the end result is I faced some of my heavy fears on that trip and with the help of these long lasting relationships I was able to finish that mile walk and now down 200+ lbs I no longer wear the seatbelt extender on a ✈️ and mile walks are just a walk these days!

The moral of the story is be comfortable with the uncomfortable and it’ll get you places you never imagined we’re possible!

⚖️MONTHLY WEIGH IN⚖️

So the month of March definitely had its ups and downs with the scale. I also included fasting for the first time since starting keto the end of November.

The pic displays the stats but it doesn’t tell you how my mind was for the month. I’m on such a big high when it comes to my weight loss. My mindset is good. I got out of my comfort zone and started working out at and working with a personal trainer who actually enjoy the time spent because she has been through her own battles and can relate to mine.

I’m finally in a place where I’m not chasing the number on the scale. I know things are going to happen and when and how they happen I’m finally ok with. What I do know is this time around I’m truly trying to educate myself and learn fully from the previous experience & mistakes I’ve made. 2 months into 2021 and I really do see big things happening for me.
