Pages support is arriving to Inkscape
Pages tool just landed to main development branch of INKSCAPE - Draw Freely. You can create new pages from presets or draw them freely, fit pages to contents, change order of pages, delete them easily. Smart guides work across multiple pages. The feature is expected in v1.2 the coming spring. Full review to follow :)
