Another Round Rock Pride in the books. We chatted with a lot of fun people. I got hugs from some of our favorite drag queens. I made friends with a few more.
Funny thing is, my head is precisely at b**b level on 6'-7' tall performers. So many b**bs...
Everybody was crushing it from the RR Pride Organization.
Ben, you really knocked it out of the park.
Richard, you are the heart and soul of that festival.
Sharon, you literally poured everything you had into it.
Simone, we really missed your pretty face. It was lovely seeing y'all today.
Maxi, I don't know how you do it. Full makeup, costume, tights, corsets, the whole shebang AND you get out there and shake your groove thing with mad abandon. I was inside most of the day and I am completely wiped out. You are amazing and I don't know if enough people tell you that.
Talor, it was great to see you. You had some of us (me & Xan) worried.
Ken, you are one of the best MCs I've ever seen. You are funny and you keep the show moving.
Mayor Craig Morgan, thank you again for indulging our wacky little production. You have always been a real class act. Your missus is a lucky gal to have such a stand-up fella.
MOST OF ALL, we want to thank Tia Linda for dragging herself up to RR this morning and being an amazing brand ambassador for the show. We love you to the moon and back.
Now I'm going to spend the rest of the evening rehydrating and loading up on ibuprofen for all the interesting aches and pains earned during the very long and "OMG it's so hot I think I'm going to melt" day at Centennial Plaza and the BACA Center.
CONGRATULATIONS on Pride Year Three.
What a great way to start .
