I recently went to a local craft fair in town and got these beautiful pineapple themed candles. Believe it or not they were from different vendors! I couldn't resist creating a little vignette with them!

Love this cocktail book. I need to use it more as I've actually only made about three recipes (I don't drink that often) but that cover! STUNNING.

Oh hey! It's been some time. Sorry for dropping off the map. Had a book slump and got very focused on art/work. I read The Love Hypothesis a couple months ago (from the new years Once Upon A Book Club box) and loved it. Saucy, cute, and those...reylo vibes... we all caught that...

I adore Olive and Adam and am excited to read more of Ali Hazelwoods books going forward. This one was a real treat.

I'm going to try and get back into a more consistent posting schedule again. Looking forward to posting a couple of reads from the fall season.

We read The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton for bookclub in October! What a blast.

We thoroughly enjoyed this one. What a fun mystery and a very unique style. I have some theories about the world/era that Aiden is coming from.

This made for a great discussion!

Not going to lie we definitely read this cause we were curious if there was any connection to The 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Besides Evelyn being a blonde in a green dress and the title they don't seem to relate!

Michael bought me this gorgeous gem for my Birthday today! Wow so much wow.

It is written by Cait Stevenson who holds a PHD in medieval history. She has taken myth and merged it with historic fact to create this wonderous book: How to Slay a Dragon.

Also just take in the glorious illustrations by Bruno Solís and formatting by Jennifer Chung!

Those drop caps are EVERYTHING. I love it so much.

By far my favourite mystery
/horror so far has been The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix! Such a well written read with some truly viseral scenes.

I can't wait to read the Familiars by Stacey Halls and Witch by Lisa Lister.

what is your favourite thing about spooky season?

Mine is pumpkin pie and apple cider! Also the leaves changing colours and cozy days wrapped in blankets with a book or a movie.

A favourite me is the entire Newsflesh trilogy from Mira Grant! These are such fun books. I like to consider them Political Thrillers with Zombies!

It's finally starting to cool down here in Ontario 🇨🇦

Mine is definitely Fall - The colours are so vibrant and the temperature is just right. Also Thanksgiving and my birthday to top it off! This year I even get to fly out west to see my dad's side of the family and one of my best friends 🥰❤

I am obsessed with Reset by Sarina Dahlan .dahlan

Based off the Beatles song 'Imagine', Reset asked the question what would happen if society reset very six years?

The story follows Aris and Metis as they wander through the last year of their cycle pending the Reset plagued by dreams... or memories?

This story was addictive, hypnotic, and dreamy. I loved every minute of it and truely love Dahlan's narration and word play. The characters were memorable (no pun intended) and I could not put it down!

This copy was from Once Upon A Book Box (Adult Box) and I had a blast opening the items as I reached each page. I loved how they tied into the story and I thought they were truely unique and interesting items!

It's been a few days since I've posted. Not going to lie guys I've been exhausted! I'm taking a bit of time to relax. Less expectations!

I'm going to try and be more frequent over the next little bit! For now here is my latest read!

I'm three chapters into The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon and I'm loving it!

I am so excited to be sharing the new cover of new book on the behalf of

I cannot wait to get my hands on this book and dig into another wonderful book by Adriana Trigiani!

The Good Left Undone is based on a true story! It follows the story of Matelda, the Cabrelli family’s matriarch, as she winds her way though family history leaving no stone unturned.

This book looks so fun. I can't wait to jump back into the Tuscan landscape to explore the world Trigiani has crafted from the pages of Italian history. I just adore her multi-generational storytelling and the epic nature of each tale. If it is anything like The Shoemakers Wife and Very Valentine I will be a very happy lady!

We have picked The Ex Talk for our August book of the month!

So excited to read this one with bookclub and I am super happy that I ended up ordering the version of it! It's going to be a blast opening each item as I read. I'm resisting the urge to start the book before August atm!

I had a feeling that by Stacey Lee would be the book and I'm so glad it was this one!

Once Upon a Book Box has a slightly different system from other boxes. They wrap each item and label them with a page number. Then when you reach that page you open each gift! So clever! I can't wait to get started!

My Lord of the Rings themed arrived a few days ago! This was an excellent box.
