我們第一次駕駛凌晨車。當日早上6：45 出發，途經Stephenville Crossing，仍然下雨，漸漸天光，下雪，雪景很美，大約1：48分鐘，很快到達Port aux Basques。我們將會搭MV Blue Puttees。

We left Stephenville at 6:45am, passed Stephenville Crossing, raining. At sunrise, snowing, beautiful snow view. After around 1h 48mins, we arrived Port aux Basques and took a ferry of MV Blue Puttees

We have a very long trip last month. We traveled across 8 provinces, 4 time zones in Canada, 12,000km (approximate 1/3 equatorial circumference of Earth 40,075 km), very busy and tired, worth to trip. We believe we have very special trip and experiences in our entire life in Canada. That's why we didn't have time to update the page before.

We will file our photos and share our trip to you later.

近幾日在兒童圖書館看書
原本擺放French 書籍的書架，改為擺放專講紐芬蘭島的書籍，方便易搵。
終於俾我找到一本書講秋天的紐芬蘭
We have been kids library recently.
There is the new book section for Newfoundland books. Very easy to find the book about Newfoundland Autumn.

We are going to visit Port aux Basques Railway heritage museum. It reflects the Newfoundland history of railway, fishery and ferry service from the pervious century.
The railway was operated 90 years, 1898-1988, locomotive generated the power from diesel. Abandoned in 1988 because of low demand. Nowadays, the displays in railway museums are reserved in some of the cities in Newfoundland.
Let's look inside the train. It divided into economy and business classes. It is not easy to climb on the crew room for photo taking.
Apart from the train display, old historical fishery and ferry display are available in the museum, such as astrolabe. It is used for measuring star chart, daily time and tidal.

我們到Port au Basques Railway heritage museum 參觀。這個博物館內的展覽見證了上個世紀的鐵路、漁業、渡輪服務的歷史。
紐芬蘭鐵路已有90年歷史，1898-1988，火車引擎是柴油運作，後來因為服務需求減少而停業。時至今日，紐芬蘭某些城市仍保留鐵路博物館和一些文物。
我們參觀火車車箱內的環境，裏面有普通座，和較昂貴但舒適的梳化椅商務倉。由於上火車駕駛位置較窄，我們很不容易抱著兩位公子上司機位影相，又給他們體驗一下。
博物館內除了可以參觀火車車箱內，主要擺放漁業和船業的展品，例如一些船航用的星象盤Astrolabe，用來測量星象、計算日時間和潮汐。另外，還有漁夫工作時使用的物品等。

Busy for 2 days, home making mooncakes, Lotus and red bean paste, some mooncakes fill in salted egg yolks 🥮, date sugar added, natural and tasty.

Newfoundland 中部Grand Fall Windsor Dominion有得買亞洲食品，甚至蝦餃等點心也有呢！
整體上，差不多 Newfoundland 的小城市grocery已經比4年前多咗很多亞洲食品買，甚至香港來的花生油、罐頭、公仔麵等款式也多咗

豆豉鯪魚罐頭特價，2025年到期。香港和加拿大的豆豉鯪魚罐頭同樣是Made in China，但加拿大的價錢平過香港很多，CA$1。印象中幾年前我仲係香港時，豆豉鯪魚罐頭已經賣到大約CA$4一罐。
利申：不是很好罐頭，是反映物價情況

紐芬蘭特產-桶裝鹹牛肉🐄、豬肋骨🐖
紐芬蘭人喜歡吃的食物Salt beef和salt pork ribs。他們喜歡拿來製作紐芬蘭食物Jig dinner，有時會製作傳統Newfoundland soup。 本身salt beef 或者salt pork ribs用鹽水醃，味道好咸，處理方法很簡單，要用水浸一晚，浸哂大部分d咸味，然後才製作食物。

Port au Port East 精華遊
Port au Port 由於較多法國後裔和原住民居住，所以路牌和標示會附加法文，甚至原住民Mi'kmaq文字。
Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church 已有百多年歷史，創於1914年。現時已不是由天主教教廷管理，轉為民間非牟利機構管理，建築物已轉為博物館模式營運，尤其是夏季，會舉行較多活動例如音樂會、織衣物、茶會等。

We are going to have a road trip to Gambo. Gambo is located at southeast of Gander. There is Smallwood Interpretation Centre. But, it's closed when we arrive there because it opens seasonal in July. Filmed in May.

我地終於有緣搭到架Corner Brook 小火車🚂，小火車環繞Downtown一個圈，全程15-20分鐘，CA$2/位，Pay by cash only，好好玩，同平時自己駕車遊覽感覺真係好唔同，坐小火車始終係enjoy d😄

This is Mill Whistler 🚂 in Corner Brook. The trip is round the Corner Brook Downtown. The duration is around 15 to 20 mins, $2/person, pay by cash only. We enjoy the small journey very much because the feeling is totally different than we take a ride by ourselves. Absolutely, it is more joyful a lot to ride Mill Whistler.

這架是由紐芬蘭島去加拿大本土的汽車渡輪Marine Altantic ⛴️，每日早晚共兩班，來往Channel-Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland紐芬蘭省和North Sydney, Nova Scotia 斯高沙省。當日這架渡輪剛剛由斯高沙省NS返來紐芬蘭省NL，稍為安頓數小時後。當晚大約11:45pm會再出發，前往斯高沙省NS，船程大約7hrs

住紐芬蘭省數年來，第一次品嚐香港製造的嘉頓威化餅。威化餅係Corner Brook 買，包裝和香港買的有些不同，這裏是每6條1個獨立包裝，香港買的沒有獨立包裝；味道和香港買的一樣😋

昨日好陽光☀️，由公路望向農田感覺很遼闊。我哋主要摘Raspberries，收成雖然唔多，但都很enjoy.
同埋係農場買咗包生菜🥬、荷蘭豆，回家開餐🍽😋

Good weather yesterday ☀️. A bit harvest of raspberries in farm. We also bought cabbage and sweet peas for dinner 🍽 😋
