Another attribute that makes God amazing is His omniscience. As humans, we are often reminded how much we don't know. God knows everything down to the smallest detail. Does the Bible really speak about this? If God knows everything why doesn't he stop the bad things that He knows will happen? What does it means that God foreknew who would be saved? Why should you be comforted by God knowing all things? Listen in, as we try to answer these questions!

We often say that God is strong and mighty, and we sing about how He is the Almighty God, but what do we actually mean by these titles? In Part 1 of our focus on Omnipotence, we go through some of the relevant questions that often arise concerning God's power and control over the world. If God is all-powerful, how should we look at the bad things that happen?

Many of us have gone through times of intense uncertainty in life. In these times we should wait on the Lord. But for you that have heard this phrase before, numerous times even, it may have become some cliche that doesn't create great confidence in your heart. In this episode, we go through why waiting on the Lord should breed courage in our souls. What does it mean to wait on the Lord? What about God would make us believe He won't let us down? What are the promises of God that Christians have the privilege of clinging to every second of their lives? These are some of the questions that we attempt to answer.

Why would God save you? With the help of Dr. Dane Ortlund's "Gentle and Lowly," we delve into one of the most beautiful truths in the Bible. Simply put, God saves us because He is merciful. We are not saved because we are particularly lovely. God doesn't save us because He needed to. We haven't done any good work that would impress God enough to save us. However, God desires to bring us near because He is at the core of His being...merciful. Come and marvel at the mercy of God with us.

In this episode, Grant and Josiah are joined by Stephen Lauterbach of the Despite Popular Belief podcast. The topic that is discussed is the holiness of God. What does it mean that God is holy? How do the people in the Bible react to the holiness of God? How is it possible for unholy (sinful) people to have the ability to come before a holy God with boldness? How are we to respond to the holiness of God in our culture today? The guys attempt to answer these questions and more! Make sure to check out Stephen's podcast for other educational and encouraging content!

What is repentance, and why is it a necessary part of the Christian life? Some Christians believe that they can go throughout their lives pursuing a lifestyle that God opposes, but because they repented of their sins at a church alter many years ago, they are good with God. What role does repentance have in salvation? In this episode, Grant and Josiah explore these questions Biblically.

Grant and Josiah discuss another prevalent cause of spiritual depression in the life of a Christian: lack of discipline. Some questions that they attempt to answer are: Is there any way that this laziness-born depression is all a part of Satan's plan for your life? How do we kill this depression in our lives? Has God done anything to protect the Christian from this depressive attack?

On this episode, Josiah and Grant begin to tackle a topic that was requested by a listener: Spiritual Depression. The gu...

In this episode Grant and Josiah discuss God's self-sufficiency. Is there anything that assists God in His survival? Does God rely on people for boosted self-esteem? Can human beings give God something that He didn't already own and already give as a gift? With the aid of A.W. Tozer's "The Knowledge of the Holy" the guys seek to answer these questions simply.

We’re back with a new episode! On this one we interviewed Chris Bennett in order to give simple answers to the basic questions of discipleship. What is discipleship? Who is a disciple? When and where should discipleship take place? Why should anyone seek to be a disciple? If you have heard this word (disciple) in church and don’t know what it means (or would like a refresher) we think this pod would be helpful for you.

As Grant and Josiah both mourn the loss of a loved one in their lives, they decided to go to the mic to share with you a way that Christians can and should grieve.

Losing someone you love isn’t easy by any stretch, and you know that, but we are able to take that mourning and grieving to the One who holds us in His hands at all times.

In this episode, the guys begin their series on Who is God?

The first attributes the guys look at is God’s Incomprehensibility. God has graciously revealed Himself to us, generally in the world and in specially in the Bible. He has revealed to humanity all we need to know to be saved, to live for Him, and how to worship Him properly. But, can we know all there is to know about God? Listen to find out.
