The First Battle of Tapae was a major battle of the Dacian Wars, fought in 86 AD during Domitian's Dacian War.

This is a recreation of the first day of the battle and it is NOT historically accurate.

3000 dacians waited to face the might of the Roman Legions commanded by Cornelius Fuscus. On the first day of the First Battle of Tapae, the Dacian King Duras ordered his men to ambush the legions, placing 1000 troops in an open field.

The Roman Commander thought he encountered a small force of the Dacian army, thus sending a small garrison of legioners to face the enemy. Unaware that the Dacian King hid another 2000 troops in the woods, waiting for the roman charge.

December 1812. Napoleon's army is retreating from Russia. The Grand Army is constantly harassed by Russian Cossacks and partizans. Many troops have to perform rearguard action in order to defend the battalion and their brother. Many of them have died in combat.
