It’s important to have people to talk to when you’re feeling down or lacking confidence because [sometimes] having an outsider’s point of view is what we need to shift our thoughts and reflect. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

📚 I’m not a confident person. I have pretty high social anxiety, I’m plus size, I’ve always been tall, and grew up with red hair. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I have always wanted to be confident, though. And I even with all of my issues, people are always surprised when I say I’m shy, or lack confidence. That’s because I have always worked the whole “fake it ‘til you make it.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But while this helps me in the people don’t see the fear or uncertainty, it doesn’t actually stop the feelings. Sometime people say things that destroy me because they think I’m confident. Then I go home a cry. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I have started collecting books that I want to read that might help me come to terms with me and my confidence. Books that will help me of not be more confident, recognizing and accept my limitations. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
