I remember the first time making it to Anor Londo in the first game, new challenges, countless of deaths, exciting cut scenes. And of course a great friend, the giant. Coming back years later in the third installment and seeing the castle again easily one of my favorite moments of this game. RIP giant. You are missed

Follow up on last nights stream. Completing the corrupted version of the Guantlet was a huge accomplishment within the game for this account. Not only do you have less time to prep for the final fight but the creatures and the boss himself have a higher health pool and higher combat stats making the fight that much more difficult. After gaining a good hold on the original gauntlet with my low-mid 80 combat stats, I thought I needed more of a challenge.

It took me 40 attempts (roughly 12 minutes each attempt) to finally beat this challenge. Upon beating it I realized that even though it’s possible it’s probably best to wait until I have the recommended stats of 90+ to actually farm this boss.

You can receive the same items from the original guantlet, it’s just that the corrupted has a far better drop rate for highly sought for items. Primarily the blade of saeldor which currently is the best in slot weapon for slash attacks. The blade costs about 90 million gold. With a drop rate of 1/400 makes the corrupted gauntlet worth mastering.

I’ve come a long way with this game from when I first started playing but I’m not satisfied. What can I do better? As you can tell some of these fights were poorly executed. What could I do differently?

As most know, I do play old school runescape and I’ve been working on my thieving skill on my Ironman account. Ironman is a game mode which challenges a player to play the game SOLO. No trading with other players and other players can not help you defeat bosses otherwise you don’t get the loot. It’s been a lot of fun. One more level up until maxed thieving 💪🏽
