We had a blast on pur port day at @nassaucruiseport. We enjoyed the ferry ride over, site seeing the @atlantisbahamas, took a nature walk after a great visit to a pharmacy and shops only to hit our destination of the private area of #cabbagebeachnassau
It was absolutely stunning, a great adventure that the whole family enjoyed. #cabbagebeach was definitely less crowded than @junkanoobeachbahamas and great for the family.
Another win for a day out in the sun… thanks @carnival_elation for a great day at port.

Day 2 of our family cruise on the @carnival_elation
Motown night was the best! Ivori absolutely loved the water slides and Dad stayed close by as these two lovely and kind young men did too 😂
Motown trivia was great but showed all of us including @claudenawesley and @criscipooh how much we didn’t know. 😜
The water was amazing as always and we caught some zzzzz’s (I was threatened not to display those images). Bingo (family bingo that is) came with some wins and Ivann got a trophy for the ping pong tournament.

Day 1 on the ship was loads of fun 🎉
The kids were already #cruiseaddicted by 3pm day 1. #guysburgers were great, dinner food was great tasting and fun with hilarious entertainment.
#carnivalelation team was awesome and always gave us plenty of energy!
Overall day 1 was a great success.
FEW TIPS
- We parked at a lot across from the Carnival port for $30 less. It worked out well.
- We travel with passports and they were easy to #embark with
- #guysburgersandfries was PHENOMENAL. The only downside is on embarkation day the line was really long.
- They kept it holiday friendly, Christmas fun but not overboard where you felt like you were missing the recular cruise events.

Dancing, music, drinks (yea.. we’re a lemonade crew. No drink package over here) = Loads of FUN 🎉‼️
So for those that asked…. Do we, do I @mrs.ncater_ prefer @carnival or @royalcaribbean I would say BOTH but if I had to choose; family fun or celebrations, right now #carnival for the win. Relaxation and simple enjoyment out at sea with excursions at port in between #royalcaribbean it is.
