🤍 Gluten Free San Sab 🤍
It was so good to have a again. I enjoyed this after a busy day of unpacking the other week.
The lady on the phone was brilliant to deal with when ordering. Check out their gluten free menu on their website ( I took a screenshot 👉🏻).
I ordered the drunken noodles and edamame beans. All delicious. 🤤 I haven’t been able to order something like drunken noodles in years. Fair bit of spice in it hence the glass of milk! 🤣
🤍 GLUTEN FREE PASTRY PINWHEELS 🤍
I had a packet of gluten free rolled pastry rocking around my fridge and had been trying to think of something different to do with it. Then a post by Soraya gave me some needed inspiration to make pinwheels with it! Hers looked amazing!
I just randomly used what I had in the fridge at the time:
- half a tub of cream cheese
- scraped the end of a jar of relish from
- finely chopped 3 mushrooms
- finely chopped 3 baby tomatoes
- sprinkled some grated cheese
- dried herbs & pepper
I spread all of the ingredients out over the flat pastry and then carefully rolled it over like a Swiss roll. Then cut up the log into thumb width pieces.
Brushed some egg yolk on them all and spread them evenly across an oven tray. Baked in oven at 170 degrees for around 30 minutes.
Then inhaled them one by one! 🤤

Absolutely loving my travel cup! I’ve had a good few people comment on it so I thought I’d share it here to see if others like it and possibly help reduce the use of some more takeaway cups!

This was so so delicious for lunch today. It was based around yesterday’s leftovers!
- pan fried buffalo chicken (used buffalo sauce; in the app)
- mixed leaves
- whole grain rice
- chopped mango 🥭 (added a lovely juicy sweetness and really refreshing!)
- cucumber
- leftover tenderstem broccoli & sugarsnap peas
- fresh lemon juice

I did some extra research myself to see if I could find some more gluten free options for us. Any place that has (SF!) beside it’s name means it has a separate fryer for chips! I called up myself to check but please ask again on the day in case any food processes change in the establishment!

🐟 GLUTENFREE at FISHBOX, DI**LE 🐟
**le never fails! I’ve had many a takeaway from here but I finally ate in last weekend. It was fabulous as always! I was pleasantly surprised to find out they do gluten free calamari! 🙌🏻 We shared that to start and I had the gluten free crispy chilli monkfish for main! Absolutely stuffed! 👌🏻

🤍 GF EGG SALAD ROLL 🤍
GLUTEN FREE lunch idea! Chop all of the below ingredients superfine, add to one bowl, mix together and place on your favourite roll, bread, wrap, etc. and enjoy! Mix can make up to 3 or so servings.
- roll
- butter
- 4 boiled eggs (still warm)
- 6 baby tomatoes
- 2 inches cucumber
- 1 large scallion
- 2 large fistfulls of mixed leaves
- 1 spoon mayonnaise
- 2 tsp honey mustard
- pepper seasoning

🥗 GF CRUNCHY CHOPPED SALAD 🥗
Ok so I’m on a buzz recently of chopping up my salads into itty bitty pieces and am loving it!
Do you ever do this? I’ve never tried ordering a gluten free salad from one of the Chopped outlets have you? 👇🏻 I just think there’s a strong possibility of cross contamination the way the set up is. But very interested to hear if you’ve tried and had a good experience?
So I’m enjoying chopping my own up which I never usually do.
Ingredients in this salad:
- mixed leaves
- 3 sweet potato falafel from
- cucumber
- baby tomatoes
- beetroot (sweet sliced scans on app)
- chicken
- Gouda cheese
- 1.5 oat & seeds crisp bread cracker broken up (see last photo)
- lemon juice
- small drop balsamic vinegar

I enjoyed this delicious gluten free pesto and mozzarella toastie with chips while down in Di**le at
The chips are cooked in a separate fryer which is amazing and the kitchen is shared with so I need to have a look at their menu the next time I’m down too!
They basically gave me two toasted sandwiches to be fair to them!

🤍GF TUNA SALAD ROLL🤍
Some of you went a bit wild when I posted this roll on my stories the other day. 🤤 To be fair it was delicious!
The baguette is made by a great Irish company in Cork.
I’m loving that they are stocked in **le so I can enjoy their fantastic products when I’m in Di**le! The apple pie is honestly superb! The pastry is perfect and you wouldn’t think it’s gluten free! I was very lucky to nab the last one that day! 🙌🏻 They sell other breads and sweet treats too.
And a shout out too to **le as they have a fantastic and massive freefrom aisle and so many gluten free products around the store! 👏🏻 Plenty of options if you’re visiting Di**le this year!

🎂 Gluten free Vanilla sponge, jam & Vanilla buttercream cake 🎂
My eldest son turned 4 last week! I still can’t believe it! 🥹 I made this cake to ensure it was peanut free for him and gf for me! 😏
I followed recipe from one of her books.
I really need to invest in a proper knife for spreading the buttercream icing next time!!
It was really delicious and all of the gluten lovers lapped it up! 😋

Delicious gluten free lunch today at on Baggot Street. Plenty of different types of ingredients to choose from for your bowl. Really refreshing and filling. 👌🏻 There was an allergen sheet at the till and the staff were really helpful too. I’ll be back! 👍🏻
🤍Gluten Free Dunnes Stores 🤍
Here’s a few gluten free bits I picked up recently in 👉🏻
Loads of sauces to choose from in Dunnes at the moment that are in the food list.
I also find the ready to cook range of meat, different types of potatoes and veggies so so handy every now and again. Just smack them all in the oven in their trays they come in.
Check out the other goodies I’ve found! 👉🏻 The new carrot cake is unbelievable. Really moist!
🥢 GF YAMAMORI, SOUTH CITY DUBLIN 🍣
Check out this gorgeous meal I had last Friday night at on South Great George’s Street.
It’s safe to say I was absolutely stuffed! 😅
I noted that there was a Coeliac in the party when I made a booking on and also sent them an email as I was curious if something in particular was gluten free on the menu. Firstly, they got back to me so quickly on my queries. Then from the moment I arrived at the restaurant It was mentioned about someone being Coeliac and I made feel comfortable talking about it straight away! They provided an allergen menu and then also the waiter was brilliant at answering my questions, checking things for me and helping adapt items on the menu to suit me. He was also really clear on what soy sauce was gluten free and what wasn’t when bringing them to the table. I really appreciated it!
I got to satisfy my sushi craving and ordered the salmon and avocado Norimaki and for main ordered the Karubi beef. It was made clear to me that the Miso soup was not gluten free and I got a chilli oil on the side instead. To top it all off they have gluten free beer! 🙌🏻 fantastic meal!
🤍GF at AquaSana Spa, Center Parcs🤍
Last week I finally made my first visit into Well just on a day trip to the spa this time!
It was midweek so the spa was lovely and quiet, it picked up a bit in the afternoon but still a nice relaxing vibe.
We went on the Spa day for 2 package which includes lunch in the Vitalé Café bar. I’ve no photo of the actual food as I locked my phone in the locker the day.
Bliss!
Staff are all really friendly and helpful in the spa. We were offered our refreshment and light bite in the cafe in the morning after arriving which I wasn’t expecting. I’d a gorgeous gluten free muffin and tea. Just ask for gluten free options.
I had rang up about the lunch before I booked as I could see the menu was very limited looking and they assured they’d cater for me.
Now the menu was limited and the only sandwich that could be made gluten free was the chicken for some reason. I don’t really understand why and not sure what you would do if you are also vegan so I would recommend you call and ask about that if you are GF and vegan. I didn’t see any soup on the menu FYI. It comes with a side salad too.
The chicken sandwich was gorgeous though and the bread they use is delicious and came with allergen flag on it. And got a juice too instead of the Prosecco as I was driving.
I just wanted to highlight the limitations on the food in the cafe so you’re not caught out.
I’d definitely recommend going as it’s a beautiful experience and we really enjoyed our day. The facilities and pool are fab. I would book again!
Also if you’re staying on site for a few days I’m sure this is no issue as you can eat in your cabin or in one of the main restaurants! And perhaps bring some backup snacks as always just in case!

I was happy out this week indulging away on these gorgeous gluten free chocolate Bon bons made by 🤤 Absolute heaven!! So pretty and tasty.
I will definitely be treating myself to these again! Tara launched her website this week so you can order these countrywide!

I fancied a roll for lunch so I made myself this! ☝🏻👇🏻

🤍Gluten free carrot & flaxseed granola bars 🤍
There was quite a bit of interest in these oat bars I made the other night for my two sons. It was my first time making them and I kind of made it up as I went along to be honest. I was trying to not add too much syrups etc. to keep them suitable for young kids.
They have gone down well with them anyway! They seem to really enjoy them. 🙌🏻 I’ll definitely be making these regularly from now on and mixing it up with different ingredients. These are peanut, nut and egg free so suitable for bringing into Creche! 🤍 And they make loads (depending on how thin you cut them) so way more cost friendly than buying oat bars from the shop.
See ingredients and method below for how I made these ones:
- 250g GF oats
- 80 ml maple syrup
- 70g butter
- 1 large carrot grated
- 1 tap cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 to 3 heaped tbsps flaxseed
- 1 large banana mashed with few spoons of water
Melt the butter in pan and add in maple syrup for few minutes. And add in vanilla essence.
In a large bowl mix the oats, cinnamon, flaxseed and carrots.
Then add in the warm butter mixture from the pot. Mix thoroughly. Then add in banana mash and mix thoroughly.
Line a baking dish with parchment paper and pour the granola mix in flattening as you go and make sure to get into the corners of the dish. When all flat and even place in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for around 30mins. Watch until top and edges have slightly browned. Remove and cool before cutting into portions. Enjoy! 🥰

☀️H10 Lanzarote Gardens☀️
I'm definitely missing the hot & dry weather this week as I'm sure you all are too!
We stayed in H10 Lanzarote Gardens in Costa Teguise on our recent holiday. had been there a month or so beforehand and recommended it. Check out her page for their experience there.
Here are a few snaps of my dinners there. 👉
We went half board which was enough for me for a buffet type place. I really didn't make the most of being catered for better by preordering any meal like pizza or pasta GF which was apparently available but they didn't really make that clear that it was an option at the start.
Nothing is marked with allergens around the buffet so needed to go around with the chef quickly at the start of every dinner to find out what was gluten free and also peanut free for my son and then remember it all and not confuse the two! 🙃 So I did find having the two allergens to think of a bit stressful so half board was more than enough for us! And we also enjoyed getting out for a few meals. (see some previous posts). So we swapped our included dinner to lunch on those days which was handy.
Overall though it is a great hotel for young families! I wouldn't rock up with teenagers or without kids for your own sake! 🤣🤪 Location is great, pools brilliant, perfect size for little ones and Staff were lovely! Also the little kitchenette in room was ideal with a fridge, sink and microwave so we could have lunches and snacks etc.
They gave us little bags at the start with some bread and cereal for me and some cereal for my son which was appreciated. Bread was quite an issue for peanut allergies so he was advised not to have any of what was in the hotel. 😭 So that caused bit of upset. I did find some eventually for him in the shops.
Anyway not sure if this post helps or scares you away but take it that I was always was a bit funny with buffets anyway food taste wise but ye I probably would do more research next time and see if hotels have better dedicated area or more of a planned system for ordering food ahead. Overall it was just fantastic to finally get away! Grá X
🤍 PESKERA, COSTA TEGUISE, LANZAROTE📍
GLUTEN FREE meal on the Costa Teguise promenade.
I really enjoyed this delicious meal at during our holiday in Lanzarote.
Staff were really lovely. Got to eat outside and people watch too! 👌
I had the burrata to start. It didn't come with bread and I didn't even ask. And for main grilled garlicy fish with canary potatoes. I cannot remember the type of fish it was now but it was delish! 😋
I'd recommend for your next trip there!
🤍GF LANZAROTE SUPERMARKET FINDS 🛒
Hello hello! Here are some of my supermarket finds in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote. There were mainly Hyperdino supermarkets around the area and these were all purchased in one of them.
Not included in the photos are the likes of cheeses, cooked meats, and yoghurts. Most of them clearly state sin gluten and carry the cross grained symbol. It's fantastic to find the cross grained symbol on so many products throughout the shop. Also a good few beers to choose from. 🍻
I forgot to take a snap of the guacamole I had, it was yum!
1. I was obsessed with these granola bars. I brought an extra box home and really wish I'd brought back more!
2. Nachos & salsa. These were sooooo good!
3. Mini breadsticks. They came in handy when going home along with the olive pate as I couldn't find any proper food in the airport.
4. Olive paté
5. Curry hummus (may not be to everyone's taste!)
6. Cocoa and strawberry sin gluten drinks.
7. Paw patrol chocolate
8. Jellies
9. Tortilla de patata. This came in handy for one or two lunches. There was a chorizo one too. Just a quick blast in the microwave with some salad or cheese. It was perfect!
10. Chocolate shark cereal. These came in handy for my son who's not Coeliac but has a peanut allergy.

🤍FETA CHEESE & QUINOA SALAD🤍
GLUTEN FREE of course! I made it in a big bowl and then can serve it from that or can last you a couple of days!
Ingredients:
- 1 bag rocket lettuce
- 1 packet plain feta cheese
- 1/2 cucumber sliced
- 10 baby tomatoes
- half red pepper
- 1/4 red cabbage thinly sliced
- 1 packet quinoa heated
- mixed seeds/peas salad topper
- olive oil
- balsamic vinegar
- squeeze honey
- pepper seasoning
I've also made it by replacing the red cabbage with chopped olives which gave it a really beautiful Mediterranean taste!

Dressing: - 1/3 juice of a lemon - 3 teaspoons dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar - 1 teaspoon honey - pepper . . Hummus of your choice.
