Got me trapped, running around just to find no escape from an endless labyrinth. This labyrinth is made out of red roses and although it's a beautiful view, and the flowers are perfect it can get a little overwhelming.

So in this beautiful labyrinth in which I've been spending my days I've had good and bad times ... I guess that's normal. At the end of the day curiosity and an eager feeling to become part of this staggering scene overpowered my reality and I walked right in. When I entered I was stunned by such beauty... I didn't even look back to remember my way out, I was just THERE ...and so I ran in without hesitation.

Days passed, turned into weeks and months when I started noticing the brightness in the red flowers started to fade and slowly one by one became a darker shade. The petals began falling out and I just had to sit there and watch it happen. I tried keeping them alive by watering them, I even gave them half of my water and decided to stay thirsty and inside the the dark walls to try and help them survive, after all, they had given me some type of shelter.

They lasted a few more months but then they started to dry and STINK. I looked around and saw nothing but endless isles full of sharp and spiky thorns which scratched and hurt me whenever I would accidentally rush against them.

Finding the exit started to feel impossible. I was trapped. Fear and frustration of escaping led me to the conclusion that I only had two options:
to push through the thorns leaving me hurt and scarred OR just to rely on patience and hope so that they'll soon dry out enough to let me break free.

Be the person I've never been. Take a walk on the beach ...alone... (barefoot) and celebrate a new year to myself and for myself not for everyone else. I guess I finally want to live for me and not for others. I JUST WANNA FIND MYSELF AND LOVE WHO THE WOMAN I BECOME. I want to be ME.

Frida, con el tiempo nos hemos dado cuenta de lo fuerte, valiente y guerrera que has sido durante estos años. La resiliencia es una palabra que podríamos definir de muchas maneras pero sin duda con tu ejemplo cobra otro sentido, otro significado, y es que, solo así con tu amor por no dejarte caer y aceptar las cosas como han venido has podido levantarte, no una, ni dos veces, muchas, muchas, quizás hasta incontables. Gracias por ser tú, a como lo dices siempre "bien o mal, pero tengo que decir las cosas a como me salen porque no puedo engañar" gracias por tu honestidad, y por demostrarnos que a pesar de todo lo malo podemos seguir y dar lo mejor de nosotros.
