Domestic violence is not okay, it leaves the victim feeling powerless , breathless , alone , isolated and without choices .

Having children with someone who isn't adequate, someone who doesn't care for the responsibilities, doesn't provide is one of the many struggles single mothers face.
There's a guilt carried that these children will be raised with something missing; a father to show them how to change a tire, who will be cheering for them on graduation day or walk them down the aisle if they decide to marry.
Although, some mothers choose to carry on with a new partner, and often the old gets replaced with a new, is it truly ever theirs? Do they still feel like a piece of them is missing?
