2024 ALL BRITISH MOTOR SHOW
Hello British Car Enthusiasts.

The All British Motor Show which will be on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 8am to 2pm and there are still spaces for you to register your car and/or motorcycle. This show is held in honor of the late Nick Becker who conceived of and promoted the show for many decades.

To help with selecting the marques and prizes or to avoid disappointment if we reach our capacity for the venue, we request you register as soon as you can. This year we have had some interest in having a 'Modified' marque. If you have a have made a major modification to your vehicle like a big motors swap and would like to be in this marque please let us know by sending an email to abmsmoasf.com. We need 3 vehicles to make a marque.

The location again will be at the Blackhawk Plaza parking lot in Danville. This year we’re celebrating the Centenary of MG! 100 years ago Cecil Kimber placed
the octagonal MG logo on a converted Morris and the rest is history!

Since 2015 we’ve partnered with the Blackhawk Museum to support their Children’s Education and Transportation Fund. Proceeds from our show and raffle are donated to the fund which are used to enrich the educational experience of local school children.

Aug 15th, Carmel, CA; Ferrari Owner Club Italia Day; I was invited to bring two of our WCBR-DUCATi Road Racers, the famous 250 adn the Team Obsolete iritating 350! Saw some great friends and racing buddies, Chris Carter of MotionPro, Brad Lackey and his lovely bride, and even John McCoy who gave ma very surprising award for my involvement in Historic Motorcycle racing & creating CVRG and later AHRMA!

Sister sent this last night, came from far off family in NZ; this is my Grandad Richard George Green, no doubt 1914/5 in England; Royal Field Art; Royal Artillery Flanders Fields 14-18
He would fight at Flanders twice, gassed by Gerry the 2nd go and sent home to recover... hence my dad! Sent back to FRANCE where he was KIA 1-Sept 1918 at the Somme. Dad was 3mo old. Dad was later called up 1-Sept 1939 to fight Germans again. Andrew & I found Grandad on 1-Sept 2018

A story of "British Racing GREEN" as in Dad :) a story I wrote years ago for USA AMOC Magazine, and one I'll continue very soon, as soon as I learn to type again! LOL... no, really. Fingers don't do as their told. Learn all sorts of things as we get older, sadly some bit I never really knew in detail until I was much older. In 1991 Dad went to Steamboat Springs, CO Road Races (bikes) with me (Yes I won again! 16 in total) we had a great time talking on the way home about Millie Miglia, Monza, Driving DB3S/1 back from Monza to Feltham, and Carroll calling Dad in 1963-ish wanting him to join Cobra Team to UK & LeMans... dad having been to LeMans many times, dad was very fast and competent development driver in Aston's, MGs (EX182) and Ferrari's in Southern CA!
