First time I ever saw him, he wouldn’t turn his key at the beginning of WarGames (1983)! Then The Natural, The Doors and Thelma & Louise solidified him as a recognizable face and presence. But it was 1992 when, as Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs, he helped introduce the world to Quentin Tarantino, who became a regular collaborator of his. So many other screen credits, but I have to say my three favorites are as Jimmy (Thelma & Louis), Mr. Blonde (Reservoir Dogs) and Sonny Black (Donnie Brasco).

I knew this day would come, but really this is one I have been dreading. They are very few that I hold with higher regard, easily one of my favorite actors of all time. From "Bonnie & Clyde" to "The French Connection" to "Mississippi Burning" to "Unforgiven" to STILL being the best Lex Luthor in any "Superman" film. In that 1978 original, Luthor says "There's a strong streak of good in you, Superman, but then again, nobody's perfect... Almost nobody."

Couldn't have said it better myself. Gene Hackman, you were perfect. You were ALWAYS perfect.

Such an inspiration. RIP Kris Kristofferson

When we dream of and strive for success in pursuit of a musical career, looking at Kris Kristofferson’s journey is one to notice and study.
He wrote Janis Joplin’s anthem, performed musically worldwide, and learned to act. His gift made him a household name.
We create hoping our creativity touches souls. Kris Kristofferson indeed did that. Joplin singing Me and Bobby McGee would have been enough.
Rest in peace Kris.

I'm at the age where people I grew up watching are passing away. Seems like every notification I get, sucks. RIP John Ashton. For most, forever Taggert from Beverly Hills Cop, but an underrated role and film, Midnight Run, is the one I'll always cherish. - Jerome

From Hook to Sister Act, from Gosford Park to Downton Abbey, and while most will remember her for Harry Potter, there will always be a special place in my heart for Clash of the Titans.

RIP Maggie Smith, one hell of a long, great career.
