This beautiful bird is a widespread wader. That means it lives in Marsh areas with both and and water.
👀 Did you know that the shape of the bill varies within the species? Depending on bill shape, this bird will either feed on molluscs or worms. Isn't that cool?
In the Netherlands, it's apparent spring is coming when you spot these birds arriving. They make a lot of noise and they fly above the water nervously flapping their wingtips. 💦
This little guy probably had a bit of a morning grouch... 😅
