🕊️ In the Philippines, November 1 (All Saints' Day) and November 2 (All Souls' Day) are more than just public holidays—they're deeply rooted traditions that reflect love, remembrance, and family bonds. ❤️

Much like funerals, Filipinos take these days to honor the lives of their departed loved ones and reconnect with families and relatives. Everyone gathers at cemeteries, often traveling back to their hometowns or provinces to pay respects. It’s a time to reflect, reminisce, and share stories about those who have passed. 🕊️💐

For Filipinos, honoring the dead is not just a solemn tradition—it’s a meaningful way to reaffirm family connections and keep memories alive. Many bring food for potlucks, share drinks, and catch up with relatives at the gravesites—sometimes staying for hours, and yes, even overnight vigils at the cemetery. 🕯️🍲
