Mega Man X7 is bad. There is no but. It does at times cross over into the realm of so bad its entertaining, but the few spots of enjoyment do not do anything to redeem the fact that it's bad. If you want a small taste of the "so bad it's good", watch the fight with Flame Hyenard and make sure sounds is on. The audio is not a glitch. Somebody did that intentionally and they just said "Eh, good enough."

The Mega Man classic and X series are among the class of games that completely change once you reach a certain level of skill. They go from a battle against an army of robots to a series of obstacle courses that end in a one-on-one dodgeball match against a really stupid opponent.

Whelp, no stream tonight. Just found out that our family had an exposure to someone who treated positive. We have been vaccinated so we aren't terribly concerned for our own health, but we need to do a lot of contact tracing and calling people. I'll be back next week.

So, a while ago Mary's Minecraft stopped working. It would crash any time we booted it up. I uninstalled and re-installed several times, deleted local files not removed during uninstalling, changed administrator priveledge, disabled parental controls and parental control app, disabled firewalls, uninstalled VPN, literally anything I could think of that could block it from opening or interrupt online verification. Nothing worked. I finally deleted the save files that I had kept separate to try and keep her progress. I get it started up and watched her while she played. She went to close the game and just turned of the computer using the power button while it saved and the message "Don't power down while saving" was up on the screen. I told her that she was corrupting her save files. "Oh, I didn't read that. I didn't think it was important cause I was done playing."

Little game design tip. If you are going to let players change stats when they level up, make all the stats work the same way. Don't have most of them get better with more points except for one that gets worse when you put too many points in. It's confusing, unnecessary, and maybe don't autosave after every stat change just in case I dunno, a player accidentally drops stat points into the wrong thing and totally f***s their game over because that is the one stat where more points is bad. You know, just a little tip *cough*Golf Story*cough*.
