Back to back wins for the Cranes 🇺🇬

A first half header from Fahad Bayo who scored the lone goal back in Kigali gave Uganda Cranes 🇺🇬 the much needed points to keep up with the chase at the top of the group.

Uganda Cranes lies second in Group E having 8 points whereas Mali who have garnered back to back wins against Kenya take up the first position with 10 points.

Micho's coached side host Kenya in Kitende before travelling far West to play against Mali com next month.

Uganda cranes captain Emmanuel Arnold Okwi has completed his move to Rwandese premier league side Kiyovu sports club.

Okwi joins as a free agent and has put pen to paper on a one year employment contract after his expiry of his two years contract with Egyptian club Al -Ettihad Alexandria.
Okwi has had three stints with Ugandan record champions SC villa , Tanzanian champions simba as well bitter rivals Young Africans ,Etoile du sahel of Tunisia and Sonderjyske of Denmark.
Kiyovu his new side are six times winners of the Rwandese super league and will be coached by Harringingo Francis this season .
Okwi becomes the third Ugandan to move to the Rwanda premier league following forward Ben Ocen and custodian Ssebwato Nicholas.

The devious stylish forward was promoted to Express Fc senior team with Henry Mwebe and David Lukwago but he has been training with Sc villa Joggo with intension of signing for the club. Mubiru was raised by Mityana soccer academy since the age of Six year.

A Fahad Bayo lone strike in the first half of the game ensures three points for the visitors.

Rwanda dominated the game possession wise, but failed to break the deadlock as Ugànda utilized it's solo chance to get an opener.

A return leg in Kitende on Sunday as the two sides meet again for another group encounter, Uganda has five points out of three games whereas Rwanda is bottom on the log with one point out of the same games.

Northern big spenders Arua hills have unveiled right full back Geriga Atendele. Atendere reunites with Livingstone for a fourth time after working with him at Buddu Fc, Onduparaka Fc and Wakiso giants. Atendele is one of the best right full backs in SUPL. The 26 year old versatile defender joins a tally of unveiled new signings at Arua hills like Gadaffi Gadhino, Samuel Ssekamatte Kayongo, Junior Adama, Faizul Ibrahim, Rashid Toha, Yusuf Ssaka and Joseph Bright Vuni. Uganda Cranes International forward Muhammad Shaban rejoins Onduparaka. The 23 year old adroit forward failed to get enough playing time due to injuries with only 8 appearances for the Venoms, scoring one goal and one assist. Jagason as commonly known by his peers has previously played for Onduparaka, Kampala Capital City Authority fc, Raja de Casablanca and Kitende based Sc.Vipers.

Uganda cranes striker Nelson Ssenkatuka rejoins Soltilo Bright Stars on two year contract. Senkatuka joined Moghreb Tetouan of Morocco on a three-year employment contract in September 2019 but faced a torrid time in the Morocco Botola Pro League. The 24 year old striker was given his favourite shirt 11 which he used on his first spell at Bright stars as the captain. *Nsibambi off to Adama Fc*
Uganda Cranes International striker Derrick Nsibambi has left for Ethiopia to complete his transfer deal with Ethiopian giants Adama fc.Nsibambi has told this website that its inevitable to leave Smouha and Egypt as well but due to the football industry he has to bid fare well but Smouha will remain his second home.
Nsibambi has joined a crop of players who have plied their trade in the North Eastern African nation including Isaac Isinde,Ondongkara,Yasser Mugerwa,Malouda among others.

Former Tooro United captain Ssepinjja Ayatu is set to join Heegan Fc of Somalia. Ayatu was one of the players who attended the club's players dinner encouraging meeting organised by the clubs management. Ayatu is aformer student of Buddo SSS, St Mary's Kitende and Standard high school, Zana. The versatile Ayatu has previously played for Lukaya Fc were he started his football career, Mbarara City, Lweza Fc, Kiboga Young, Entebbe Fc and Tooro Utd.

It rained goals at the FUFA Technical Center Njeru as Vipers SC 🇺🇬 walloped Bul Football Club-Jinja 🇺🇬 8 goals to 1 in the finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup Tourney.
Four goals from Yunus Sentamu, a brace from Ceaser Lobi Manzoki, a goal each from Livingstone Mulondo and Milton Karisa ensured victory for Vipers SC clinching their second Uganda Cup trophy.

Vipers SC win becomes a record winning margin and the highest scoring final ever since the inauguration of the Uganda Cup Tourney.

Uganda cranes forward Steven Desse Mukwala is linked with a move to Ghanian Giants Asante Kotoke and it's believed the player has already made a flight to Ghana to complete his anticipated move .last year the striker was the main Target for the Ghanaian team however the deal stalled because of a disagreement on the fee .
The lethal striker notched 14 goals last season for the tax collectors and was the topscorer of the Ugandan premier league season of 2019 /2020 season while at maroons .

Bright Anukani is a venom 🔴. The 21 year old joins Vipers SC 🇺🇬 on a three year contract with an option for a further year.
He was previously on loan at KCCA FC 💛🇺🇬 from his parent club Proline Football Club - PFC 🇺🇬.

Another option for Robertinho and Cardoso with the charge of going forward and an addition to the creativity prowess in the final third of the field.

Titus a young magical attacking midfielder has played for Buddu ssaza team for two seasons and is a student of St Lawrence university as well being a strong pillar of the university team .

SC Villa 🇺🇬 has unveiled a new technical team today that will take on club responsibilities for the coming season.

Petros Koukouras signed a three year contract as the Head Coach keeping him at the club till the closure of the 2023/2024.

Jackson Magera signed a two year contract with an option to extend for a further year.

Emmanuel Were Derrick joins Soltilo Bright Stars on a two year contract from relegated kyetume Fc. The 22 year old stopper has won the Masaza Cup tournament three times in four finals (2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018), winning with Singo (2015 and 2018) as well as with Buddu in 2016 and Pepsi University Football League as a captain with Uganda Christian University in 2019. Defender sameual Kato Nemeyimana officially Joins Rwanda premier League club Bugesera Fc. The towering ball playing defender was recently released by Kcca after two year tenure with the senior team. Kato made his debut during the successful CECAFA Kagame Cup in 2019 after impressing in the Uganda Hippos (U-20) side and the Coca Cola Schools' Championships. The 22 year old sweeper has represented Uganda at the U-17, U-20 and at the senior team Uganda cranes.

Lukwago follows the trek of Posnet Omony, Hannington Kalyesubula, Denis Onyango and Robert Odongkara who have also featured in goal posts of St George. Benjamin Ochan has officially rejoined KCCA Fc for a third stint after expiration of his two year contract with AFC Leopards of Kenya.His first stint with the club was in 2008/2009,the second spell was in 2015 /2018 and now the third spell is 2021/2023.
The experienced shot stopper has signed a two years contract and in his first interview has vowed to repay the faith put in him by the club .
Ochan has featured for a number of clubs like Sc Villa in Uganda,AFC Leopards of Kenya,Kabwe Warriors of Zambia ,SC Victoria University now a defunct club as well Blomfontein Celtics of South Africa.
Ochan now boosts the goal keeping department of the club that recently let Hassan Matovu join Soltilo Bright stars Fc and is likely to be the club's number one in between the goal posts ahead of Ali Mwirusi and new recruit Derrick Ochan from police Fc .

West Nile Giants Onduparaka FC has confirmed Jarieko James as their first signing this transfer window.Jerieko managed to score 18 goals in 21 games for Paidha Black Angles JT in the FUFA Junior League last season. Jerieko was part of the U17 team that camped in Turkey for the CAF AFCON U17 tournament.

6 years without the taste and feel of continental football for the Tax Collectors, today URA Football Club 🇺🇬 returns to Continental football competition up against Ethiopian Coffee SC 🇪🇹.

The Ugandan side is in good shape says Team Manager Sam Timbe "the good news is that we have no injuries in the squad. Our only worry was with one of the goalkeepers but now that Hannington is back, we have all players available. Everyone is available for selection".

The game kicks off at 4pm at the St Mary's Stadium Kitende and it will be live on Sanyuka TV.

URA Football Club 🇺🇬 has unveiled Sam Timbe as their new Team Manager on a one year contract.

Sam Timbe comes with experience having won four Kagame Cups with four different clubs, a title with SC Villa before joining Uganda Police Football Club where he won a league title in 2006, he has also been at Atraco in Rwanda, Yanga SC, Sofapaka and Tusker FC in Kenya.

CAF A licensed football tactician joins the Tax collectors to beef up their new technical management team.

Timbe’s first assignment will be a CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round game against Ethiopian Coffee on Sunday at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Kcca FC has promoted two youngsters Ibrahim Juma and Elvis Mwanje to its senior team as it has been it's norm in almost every season of promoting academy players to the senior team.
Ibrahim Juma was the captain of the Uganda Under -17 national team that won the cecafa championship in Kigali last year and joined the KCCA FC soccer academy in 2017 .
Mean while Mwanje Elvis a player who hails from Masaka joined the team in 2019 and is a former Buddo secondary school student as well currently enjoying his senior six vacation from Masaka secondary school which feeds young players to the KCCA FC soccer academy.The duo joins a number of players who have previously played for the club academy in the current KCCA FC senior squad like Ali Mwirusi ,Sadat Anaku, Musa Ramathan,Dominic Ayella, Peter Magambo,Herbert Achai,Julius Poloto , Kizza Bukenya and Hassan Jurua.

Express Fc has braced it's squad with Nicholas Kasozi and Deus Bukenya.The duo becomes club’s latest additional to Joel Mutakubwa and Joseph Akwandwanaho. Kasozi has joined on a one year loan deal from Kyetume FC while versatile experienced Bukenya joins on a one year employment contract as a free agent. Derrick Were was the captain of Uganda Christian University as they won the Pepsi university football league as well the MVP and best goal keeper of the university league 2019.

Derrick Ochan signs a three year contract with the Kasasiro Boys 🇺🇬.
He joins KCCA FC 🇺🇬 from Ugànda Police Football Club where he spent a full year having left Vipers SC in 2020.

The goal keeper becomes the 9th signing for KCCA FC in this transfer market, the Lugogo based club has had a busy transfer period.

The club is currently in Jinja on a three days camp

Vipers Sc today has announced the capture of young goal keeper Jack Komakech.The youngster joins the Kitende based club on a long term contract .
Komakech is a product of the Ascent soccer academy and was pivotal in the Uganda Cubs team that won the Under -17 Cecafa championship last year .
Under the tutterage of new coach Roberto Oliveira ,Komakech becomes the first signing of the venoms .Jack is expected to battle Fabien Mutombola and Derrick Kiggundu for the custodianship of the Venoms goal posts

Uganda Cranes 🇺🇬 goalkeeper Salim Jamal Magoola has parted ways with Sudanese giants Al Hilal following the expiration of his contract.
Jamal joined Al Hilal in 2018 from their bitter rivals Al Merrikh where he had spent four years.

He's linked with a move to a South African 🇿🇦 club having undergone a 10 days trial at Marumo Gallants FC.
