NFTs in Path of Survival — how do they work and why?

Non-Fungible Tokens, more commonly known as NFTs, are unique tokens that cannot be replaced. Each NFT represents a special value and stores unique data. If one NFT is traded with a different NFT, the value won’t remain the same as the token backing asset changes.

NFTs can represent anything like a piece of art, a gaming card, or a valuable in-game asset for Path of Survival!

Path of Survival includes various NFTs for gaming items like:

🔹 Weaponry: Gaming weapons of different kinds to fight against the creatures and their bosses.

🔹 Armory: The support and protection needed for defense against attacks from the enemy require superior armory.

🔹 Consumables: Players will be able to purchase various consumables from the vendor or earn those from the dungeons which will empower the player's character for a limited time.

😎 It doesn’t end here, Path of Survival will release physical real-life copies of the gaming items and characters to create its very own multiverse and to empower players’ connection of their gaming experience with real life.

The team’s plan is to release real-life replicas of end-game items (weapons/armors) as well as Honey Tokens, which players will be able to farm in-game and exchange for real-life honey which will be shipped to them. These two methods will further strengthen the link between the metaverse and real life.

Players can buy these in-game NFTs at vendors or through auctions with NFT drops.

The core difference between Path of Survival and other games is that the items will be stored off-chain and players will be able to freely trade those without the need to mint them on-chain and pay gas for every step of the process.

Of course, if they decide to, they can mint their items on-chain, withdraw them to their wallet, and trade them on external marketplaces.

Buying these “Path of Survival” NFTs allow players to hold and use them within the game and like any speculative asset, they can be sold once their value increases.

The clan lands for example will have big in-game significance and utility.

Once bought the land can be developed by upgrading its buildings, which will add additional bonuses to members of the clan.
Clan owners can add admission fees for players to be admitted to the clan, and also add weekly membership which players need to pay in SRV in order to maintain membership and preserve their passive bonuses.
