Two Iranian Chess stars both with title of Woman Grandmaster playing against each other but each under a different flag. Mitra Hejazipour represents France and Atousa pourkashiyan represents U.S.A both women are Iranian Women's Chess Champions since childhood but they've had to seek citizenship away from their home countries because the Regime thinks their Hijab is more important than their Genius.

In late December another Iranian Woman Grandmaster Sara Khadem participated in the worldcup in Kazakhstan without her headscarf which had immediate consequences for breaking the regime's rules. Her and her husband subsequently moved to Spain.

صفحه توییتری توماج صالحی اعلام کرد: «گلوبال موزیک اواردز» در بخش موسیقی اعتراضی، جایزه جهانی خود با نام «هرتیک» را در سال ۲۰۲۳ به این رپر زندانی معترض اهدا کرد.

بنا بر این گزارش، قطعه موسیقی «فال» مورد توجه این نهاد قرار گرفت و سبب شد که جایزه سالانه ویژه به او تعلق گیرد.

❗️Beloved Iranian Rapper and voice of the people of Iran has been sentenced to 6 years and 3 months imprisonment and banned from making music for 2 years. Toomaj has been unlawfully held in Solitary confinement for 252 days since his arrest last year. Hke has been tortured and injured without medical treatment. The sentensing comes after he was charged with corruption on earth for speaking the truth and his sham trials were held behind closed doors without a lawyer of his choosing and without family present.

We Demand Toomaj Salehi's freedom.
We urge the international community, including music and art institutions, Governments as well as Freedom of speech organisations to urgently call for Toomaj's release. Toomaj is a beloved Rapper in Iran who rapped about political and social issues that the Islamic Regime has long been trying to conceal from domestic and foreign audiences.

Since his arrest in October 2022, he has been severely tortured, had his hand broken, His left eye was badly damaged due to blows to his head. He has been kept in solitary confinement and has not been provided adequate medical treatment.

Toomaj is being charged with multiple internationally unlawful charges and faces possible death sentence if his trial goes ahead.

He needs urgent medical treatment which cannot be provided in prison.

BREAKING NEWS! Irainian Singer Shervin Hajipour wins the 2023 Grammy Award for best song for social change for his song Baraye which became the anthem protest song of Iran's revolution. Hajipour was arrested by the regime's intelligence agency but was released a few weeks later on bond.

Shervin Hajipour won in a new special merit category recognizing a song for social change. The song has become the anthem of protests that have swept through Iran in recent months.

Breaking: The Islamic Republic have executed two more young men this morning Saturday 7th of Jan. Mohamad Mehdi Karimi and Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini.
Mohamad Mehdi's father had found about the death sentence over the phone from his son.
Both were accused of killing a basiji officer and were forced to confess under torture. The international community have been working to stop their ex*****on but they were executed by hanging early this morning.

Hossein Ronaghi has been released from prison after 62 days of being on hunger strike. He suffers from Kidney disease which the prison guards refuse to provide treatment for, and have previously kicked him in the kidneys after he had an operation. He has now been released for medical treatment by his family paying collateral.

Update: Voria Ghafouri has been released on bail.

Prominent Iranian Soccer player Voria Ghafouri who is of Kurdish origins, has been arrested by the Islamic Republic security forces during a soccer training session on Thursday.

Voria is a national hero and has always stood by the people and has stood up for women's rights and human rights. The government have accused him of spreading propaganda and tarnishing the reputation of the national soccer team. Voria himself a former national team and Esteghlal team player, is currently the Captain of Foolad team.

He showed his support for the protesters and specially supporting the people of his hometown where security forces have entered with heavy military artillery. His status is currently unknown.

In yet another act of defiance by brave sportswomen from Iran, players of basketball team Canco posed for a group photograph without their compulsory hijab.

Uploading the picture on her Instagram handle, their coach Farzaneh Jamami penned an empowering note for Iranian women as they protest to break free from the country's oppressive regime.

'Teach your daughter that such things as gender roles are nothing but nonsense. Teach them you are valuable and irreplaceable. If you're told otherwise, don't believe it.' she wrote. 'Tell them "don't hide your self. Stand up, hold your head high and show them what you got! Tell them you are powerful and capable you are a woman of freedom,' Jamami added in the caption.
