Lago Di Braies
So we told you in our last post that Dolomites was our favourite place in Italy. And Lago Di Braies is definately one of the spots that makes Dolomites worth visiting!
Lago Di Braies is a beautiful turquoise lake surrounded by breathtaking mountains. You can rent a rowboat and have a romantic float in the lake. There's souvenir shops and cafés to enjoy a smaller meal. There is also possible to walk around the lake, which is a hike that takes aproxomately 1-1,5 hours.
Tips if you are going to Lago Di Braies:
-It costs 7 euro for parking
-Boat rent starts at 9.30 am. There's normally 30 min to 1,5 hours queue
-50 euro for private boat 30 min
-10 euro for shared boat 30 min
We went there as early as 05.15 to have the place to ourselves. There were some people there at the time, but not crowded. It was a bit cold in the morning, so we advice you to bring a sweather in summer time as well.
Taman Ujung, Bali🌸🌱
Entrance fee: 150.000 IDR per person (10 USD)
Parking fee: 5000 IDR
We went there approxomately 13.00 and it was not crowdy at all. Such a beautiful and relaxing place. We highly recommend a visit to Taman Ujung during your time in Bali🌏

There's high season in Greece right now, and we wanted to share with you our 3 favourite Greek islands:
1. Santorini
2. Mykonos
3. Parga
We have been to many Greek islands such as Kos, Skiathos, Rhodos, Santorini, Mykonos, Krete, Karpathos, Cyprus and Parga, and we absolutely love the Greek islands. These 3 are our favourites because we felt they overall had such a nice atmostphere and many beautiful views and things to do and see🌸

HOW WE CHOSE THE RIGHT RESORT IN MALDIVES🌴🌸💖🏖
♡Which resorts has the room type you are looking for? We really wanted an overwater bungalow with private pool, and started to list up the resorts we though looked nice and that offered our wanted room type. We found this by searching on our wanted dates at big websites like hotels, booking, momondo, norwegian finn.no, and opened a new tab for each resort we wanted to check out further.
♡Then we eliminated those that were out of our budget.
♡Thereafter we checked which of these hotels that had the clearest water, and less corals. (Again..our preferences as we wanted as turquoise water as possible.) We checked this by looking at pictures people had shared from the resorts and by looking at satellite photos on google maps/google earth.
♡After chosing a handful of resorts within the steps as listed, we started to compare which resorts that had the best offers when it comes to restaurant amounts, restaurant types, sports/activities to do, honeymoon packages, transport prices to/from the island etc.
♡When you have chosen which resort is right for you, you should always check if the chosen resort's website has better offers.
By using all of these steps we ended up with booking the overwater bungalow with private pool at and we loved it!! (This is not an add or collaboration, but our honest opinion)
Except from the weather (that ofc is not the resorts fault), we loved everything about this place. Friendly and helpful staff, good food, lots of activities, and not to mention the perfect bungalows😍 We could stay there forever!🙌💦
What time of year you should travel to Maldives:
If you want as much sun as possible when going to Maldives, you should definately travel between january and march. You will never be a 100% certan of sunny weather as Maldives is located close to equator and do have monsoonal climiate because of this. But there is so much higher chance to avoid bad weather in this period of year!
We travelled to Maldives in july for our honeymoon, and even though Maldives is a paradise, we will never travel in this period of year again. We had 1,5 day of sun and 5,5 days with rain and storms😅
But if sunny weather is not that important to you, and your goal is to have less tourists around you and/or to avoid the highest expenses, may-december is better
As we love to travel, it was probably not a surprise that we had a destination wedding🌍👰🏽♀️🤵🏾💒
Here are some tips that can come in handy if you are planning a destination wedding:
♡Check the marriage rules of the country you are getting married in closely, and apply early if you are using a foreign marriage officiant
♡Write detailed wishes to the venue owner/coordinator . You can not be clear enough. With different languages there will always be misunderstandings
♡Chose a person that welcomes the guests atvrrival and coordinates all acommodation
♡Chose a person that coordinates all transportation
♡If your budget allows it, hire a wedding planner. That person can be a buffer from AAALL the million questions you get the day before the wedding and on the wedding day. It easies all the stress you have to go through before your special day starts💕
♡If your wedding is in a country with a foreign language: Google translate is your friend. We booked nail designer, cakes,
Photobooth, chocolate fountain etc in French, thanks to google translate, because as you know, most French people don't speak English😁

We were supposed to be in Amsterdam this weekend, but because of some health issues we had to cancel the trip. This is actually the first time ever, that we are not going on a trip that we have booked😱 But health comes first, and it was the right decision for us. Recording to the locals, september is the best month to travel to Santorini. The weather is still nice and the tourist crowds are not as big as between june and august🧡
Bali is one of the places that we really want to go back to some day🌴
