About me and Odin

HEYOOOO!! (click see more, there are pics inside!!)

My name is Holly and I’m a 24 year old single dog mom to Odin who is absolutely the best (and most spoilt) pittie on the planet!!

I am originally from Northwest Arkansas and I was raised as a good ole southern belle. Grew up on a farm; had horses, cows, pigs, chickens and entirely too many gardens... we pretty much gave produce away to our family or neighbors. My dad was a hunter and a fisher so we always had fresh venison, beef or pork for dinner and my mom made me walk outside if we needed another tomato... yeah I was THAT country.

My parents also kept me super involved in sports. Not only because all of my siblings before me were major athletes and the same coaches were still around to be MY coaches. But I think it was just their way of keeping me out of trouble... I had practically no social life growing up. It was like pulling teeth just to go to a movie with friends. Softball, basketball, track, cross country, golf, homework, gardening, farm work.. yeah NO LIFE.

I signed my contract with the US Army at only 16 and later shipped off to basic training shortly before my 18th birthday, I think I was kinda ready to escape the farm. After about a year of training I shipped to the best duty station on the planet - Fort Riley Kansas!! btw that's totally a joke and only those who have been there will truly understand... I’ll be honest and say that there are worse places to be, like my 2nd duty station, but unless you like fishing, hunting, or driving several hours to get anywhere worth going.. it’s not the place for you.

3.5 somthin years later and I finally leave and go to my 2nd duty station… DRUM ROLLLLL!! Fort Hood Texas... THE GREAT PLACE.. yeah right. But hey, I had an amazing job and worked for some incredible people. The best thing about the military is honestly the connections you create, the people you meet and the memories you make with them.

8 years of active duty later and here I am a contractor living in Virginia. I’m kinda in a limbo with where I wanna be. I could go to college and learn about business or space! SPACE FORCE HOOAH lol... goodness I’m lame. Maybe i’ll join the border patrol or just travel the world and stream from various places across MERICA! Who knows, the sky is really the limit with me.

Now about Odin, the real reason most people stick around...

I adopted Odin when I was stationed at Fort Riley Kansas, he was 3 years old. He had been in an out of the shelter for most of his life due to severe allergies and people simply not taking the time to understand what was wrong with him - until me! My poor baby is allergic to pretty much everything except chicken, eggs, milk and soy... yeah... I know... But I did my best for him and finally found some good yummy stuff for him to eat. It took a lot of adjusting but I learned to stop leaving food on the counters and hide his fav snack - the trash can. Its been 3 years now and he’s livin his best life and I've found my best friend!! P.S. ask for me to show him on stream!
