Pieket's new (and final???) album "Imposter Syndrome" is out wherever you stream music.

Pieket (), a lo-fi indie band and art project from Dhaka, Bangladesh, is capturing the hearts of music lovers with its unique sound and artistic expression. The band consists of singer/songwriter and bedroom producer Sinjan Saadat a.k.a Kanna Dey, the Destroyer, filmmaker and producer Syed Wadud on drums and percussions, Hasib Mahmud on synths, and Navid Anjum Khan (Digg Deep) on the bass.

Pieket was formed in 2015 and has built a niche fanbase who often come together on a dedicated Discord server to share their love for music, films, and art, besides all things Pieket. Their discography spans nearly 4 hours of music that is available for streaming, along with several music videos and recorded live performances.

The band's music is known for its "floaty" quality and rough edges. Lyrically, the songs are sincere with a deadpan delivery and often address the listener in second person, creating a warm and mysterious aura. Pieket's music has a therapeutic effect on listeners and helps them deal with existential dread and emotional rollercoasters.

Pieket's last and final studio album, "Imposter Syndrome," is set to be released on February 4, 2023. This album is part of the anthology of four albums the band planned to release in 2021, but only released three. The band released "Modern Loneliness" on February 5, 2022, which was a departure from their usual sound as Wadud experimented with new sounds, multiple percussion layers and other instruments while Sinjan focused on upping his production game to prove the point time and again that you don't always need to spend $$$ on a "professional" audio recording.

Despite their reserved and "not-in-the-scene" approach, Pieket's music has found its place in the hearts of many. The band is comfortable with staying under the radar, but it's time for the Pieket fandom to come out and show their love for this unique and talented band. With the release of "Imposter Syndrome," it marks the end of an era for Pieket as they will no longer be releasing new music in the future.
