UNITED VS DIViDE
From the childhood it is taught that, 'United we stand, Divided we fall'. But the term, 'Divide and rule' has become more practical than the earlier.
It stands true in the matter of 11th Bipartite Settlement between IBA and representatives of work men. There were 9 work men representatives on one side and one of managements on the other side. The agenda of discussion more or less was same of both the opponents. But nine lost to one, why, divide and win.
While one of them tried to stick to the stand, although, the target was the same, others did not support, thus, 'isolated' and Odd Man Out.
Inspite of the fact that all of them are being criticised by their own supporters for poor performance but not single clap or a word of praise for the person who proved to be fighter against all odds, honest and sacrificed himself. Not only this, the way he is being humiliated is another matter of shame. Taking advantage of the situation, IBA dared to oust him from the negotiating committees of residual issues.
If it is felt that let the system continue prudentially, we owe a word of praise and thanks to the person who registered the protest and at least raised the issues as desired.
