How do treat your brand? We treat it like it is one or us.

Like a person, a brand has its own personality and character that defines who it is, what its beliefs are and how it goes through life.

Your brand should have and identity (who it is, personality (how it behaves) and experience (how it will be remembered).

Ask yourself these three questions about your brand:

How would your brand introduce itself? How would it describe its appearance?

How would your brand talk about your products or services? Would it be serious and professional, or humorous and playful?

What would someone say about your brand after “meeting” it for a first time? What are a few sentences they would use to describe it?

Humanizing your brand will help you achieve a deeper relationship between you and your clients. If you treat your brand as a person, your clients will do the same. It is the most effective way to gain their trust and loyalty.

Don’t get me wrong, design is also important part of the branding process but it comes later down the road.

A mission statement drives your business. It describes what you do and for whom, your objectives and everything what it takes to achieve those objectives. It also shapes your brand’s culture.

When writing a mission statement, consider these questions:

▫️What do we do today?
Who do we serve?
▫️What are we trying to accomplish?
▫️What impact do we want to achieve?

Vision statement describes the future of the company. It reveals what the company hopes to achieve in the long-term. The vision statement is inspirational and motivational, but it also provides a direction for a brand.

When writing a vision statement, consider these questions:

It measures how well known and accepted a brand is to its target audience.

Why is brand awareness important?

◽️It builds trust.

Trust in a brand is crucial in today’s society because buyers often do exstensive research and ask others for opinion before making any purchase. Once customer bonds to your brand and feel emotional connection with it, they are more likely to make repeat purchases without more thinking.

◽️It creates association.

Brand awareness associates actions and products with particular brands, subconsciously encouraging us to replace common words with branded terms. And before you know it, simple everyday stuff are doing marketing for you.

◽️It increases brands equity.

Brand equity describes a brand value, which is determined by consumer experiences with an overall perception of the brand. Positive experiences and perception equal positive brand equity, and the same goes in negative notion.

We love to work with clients who are open to some new ideas and give us a lot of creative freedom in the process of creating their brand identity.

is one of that people that we love to work with. She is a Social Media Manager who is primarly working with businesses from fashion industry, so we entered this project with a Personal Brand approach.

From researching her existing profiles and work, we saw that she is using soft colors and an elegant yet minimalistic designs, which is the path we also took when designing the logo.

After research and discussion, we start choosing the font for the logo. We chose a serif font that is elegant but also simple to achieve minimalism.

We then played around with the positioning of the letters, and found a combination that looked appealing and created the submark.

Once the brand marks were created, we selected the brand name font and other heading and body fonts to complement the entire brand identity.

Michelle already used soothing and soft colors, so we just expanded that pallete to give it more life and variation.

In the end, we put everything together, and that’s it!
