Another unarmed black man is murdered by police. Thankfully it was caught on video or the blame would certainly be put on him. They would say he deserved it for resisting arrest, even though he didn't. They would say he was violent, even though he wasn't. They would say it was a mistake, even though the footage clearly shows the man saying he can't breathe while bystanders ask the officer to remove his knee from the back of George Floyd's head until the man blacks out and dies in front of them (this was not an accidental slip of the trigger finger; this was murder in broad daylight with plenty of time to adjust course). White people are allowed to protest wearing masks by cursing in the faces of police officers while holding weapons, and the officers do nothing about it. But as black Americans protest murders like this one, they are held at gunpoint and shot with tear gas and rubber bullets. And of course, the officer in this case was not immediately arrested for murder, but only fired. This double standard has to stop. Our heart goes out to George's family and to the many other families who have lost someone unnecessarily to police brutality, most of which without video evidence and without justice.
What happened to George Floyd is plain as day, and white people especially need to understand that this happens ALL THE TIME. === Support the show at http://...
