Voice of Grand Kru News Director Christopher Sayon Kumeh has been appointed as Barclayville City Corporation Public Relations Officer by Mayor Benetta Blamoh.

Journalist Kumeh also Voice of Liberia Grand Kru Correspondent new position took immediate effect over the weekend.

Speaking to our sister radio station, Grandcess media incorporated, the Liberian Journalist commits his office to working with relevant state actors to conducting and promoting the affairs of the city council in accordance with the city audiences in direct consultation with the mayor office.

He asserted that as Communications Director, he will work tirelessly with the citizens through a robust outreach activities making using of the three radio stations in Grand Kru to educate locals about the operations of the corporations.

The newly appointed Barclayville City Corporation media officer Christopher Kumeh told reporters that, his office in consultation with the Mayor Benetta Blamoh will mainly focus on creating more awareness on the cleanness of the city and for the residents of the city limit taking ownership of the beautification of Barclayville.

Meanwhile, Journalist Kumeh commended the city council through the mayor office for reposing the confidence in him, to serve the county and its people.
