IN pain of being single at the age of 53, a mam from Sikaanze village in Kalomo district has eded his own life after his wife left their matrimonial home due to a dispute the couple had.
Arnaud Sikaanza and his wife, encountered a marital misunderstanding, which caused his wife to leave him. But this decision did not settle well with Sikaanza who proved that his life was nothing without her, by ending it.
On October 7, 2023, Sikaanze is reported to have left home saying he was going to attend the Lwiindi Traditional ceremony.
Unbeknown to everyone was that he left with suicidal thoughts.
Two days later and after the ceremony, Sikaanze was found in a semi- decomposed state with no scratches on injury on his body to suggest otherwise.
Southern Province Commissioner of Police, Auxensio Daka, who confirmed the incident yesterday indicated that no foul play is suspected and the relatives have since buried the body.
