De Cuba Son is a band that showcases Cuban hits from many different decades, from the likes of Compay Segundo and the Buena Vista Social Club, to more contemporary sounds.
It is a high energy band with music primarily geared for dancing the night away.
De Cuba Son features:
Arvis Mena - Bass and vocals / MD
Glenn Rogers - Guitar
Jeremias Sosa - Guitar and vocals
Julius Rogers - Drums
Oslu Castañeda - Percussion and vocals
Mohamed Builo Michel - Piano
De Cuba Son will be joined by Kombi-A train to make this the most exciting and energetic Latin night in Western Australia.
On this special night both bands will be paying tribute to Buena Vista Social Club and the biggest Cuban hits, arranged and infused by their original sound.
Kombi-A Train is a Cumbia band, inspired by the early 70 ’s Peruvian Cumbia boom.
Infused with Psychedelic vibes, Salsa beats, Andean harmony and feel.
Big and strong sonically, melodic and melancholic, in sync. Dance to it, groove to it!
