LOOK: Here’s a sneak peek into what the stations of the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) will look like once it is completed and operational.

Last 9 June 2022, the ADB Philippines approved its largest infrastructure financing project in history to fund the construction of the NSCR, which will connect provinces north and south of Metro Manila, and provide commuters with faster, more convenient travel across regions. The Philippine government and ADB will be formally signing the loan agreement for the project in a ceremony later today in Malacañang Palace.

The NSCR encompasses three (3) railway projects, including the PNR Clark Phase 1 (Tutuban - Malolos), PNR Clark Phase 2 (Malolos-Clark), and the PNR Calamba (Solis-Calamba).

It is expected that the ongoing NSCR Project will be pursued even beyond the current administration’s term and will be delivered eventually to provide a more convenient and comfortable life for the Filipino people.

WOW MRT-3 'Libreng Sakay' program extended until June 30 👊👊👊🙏🇵🇭.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has extended the free ride for riders of the Metro Rail Transit-3 until June 30 this year.

DOTr Sec. Art Tugade said the extension is part of the government assistance to commuters in Metro Manila amid the series of increase in the prices of oil products since December last year which has been affecting the prices of basic commodities too.

“We want to continuously assist to our kababayan amid this series of increase in the prices of basic commodities and fuel products,” said Tugade.

The free MRT ride, ordered by President Duterte, started on March 28 to celebrate the significant improvement in the MRT services following the aggressive rehabilitation and procurement of additional trains.

It was supposed to end in May 30 but Tugade said the recent decision is to extend it until June 30, the day President Dugterte steps down from Malacanang.

As of May 24, the DOTr revealed that more than 15 million MRT riders have benefitted from the free ride program.

Wow! Dumating na sa pilipinas mula Poland ang 5 S-70i Black Hawk combat utility helicopters.

The delivery of the 16 Polish-made S-70i "Black Hawk" combat utility helicopters in the country has been completed, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) said on Tuesday. PAF spokesperson, Col. Maynard Mariano said the last batch of five “Black Hawks" were transported to the Clark Air Base in Angeles City, Pampanga on Monday morning.
