I could sit by the river and listen to the sounds of water all day. This was filmed last November, LA RIVIÈRE DU DIABLE at Mont Tremblant, Quebec just one hour and a half north of Montreal, but I still carry it in my heart. At times, the water seemed peaceful, and calm especially at the more shallow end. In other sections where the river was steep, the flowing crashing waves were turbulent but just as peaceful. Of course, I was sitting comfortably and safely by the shoreline. The babbles, ripples & trickles are all the sounds it makes as if the water is calling us. God's beautiful creation. My latest vlog is live on Youtube. Thank you so much to those who have already seen it. It's a simple popcorn picnic in the garden where I may have gone a little wild with candles, but that's ok. If I learned anything this past year & a half as we faced this global pandemic is was to Seize the moment that The Lord has blessed us to enjoy. And make the everyday mundane moment a little extra special.

The reality is that I will spend more time in my garden than I ever will on the pink beaches of Bermuda or hiking up Mont Tremblant. My favorite places! As much as I look forward to revisiting those places, they make up a tiny part of my life. I don't want to look forward to a grand vacation one week out of the year only to return & feel a lull. I want to create a life where gratitude, contentment, joy & lots & lots of candles twinkling away take center stage, even in the everyday routines of life. Right in my own home! And I thank The Lord for it all - the grand & small moments in my tiny corner of the world. I wish you a good day in the beautiful corner of your world. xoxo GIOIA
