Hon. Nixon Ngikolong's Engagement with Kapedo Community and Preparations for Suguta Sub-county Launch.

Over the weekend, Hon. Nixon Ngikolong engaged with the community of Kapedo Village in Suguta Sub-county.

On Saturday, Hon. Ngikolong attended the funeral of Mr. James Kichidi, a Senior Revenue Officer in the County Government.

On Sunday, he inspected structural developments for the upcoming launch of Suguta Sub-county, accompanied by the Deputy County Commissioner for Turkana East and all security heads in Kapedo.

Senior county officials present included the Chief Officer for Planning, Mr. Ekaale Samuel, the Chief Officer for Administration and Disaster Management, Mr. David Namus, and the Director of Minerals, Hon. Loter Stanley.

His Excellency the Governor, Caucus of Turkana East MCA's have consented on ISVD conservation programme under partnership of Conserve Global.

Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai,Napotikan highlighted the importance of unlocking Suguta Valley region to development only to genuine development partners.

Conservation extends to protection of our Turkana Natural and cultural heritage, which involves regulated mineral exploration.

Mr. Eugene Kopus Kakouk admitted as a pupil in Kapedo Primary school after staying at home for over 2years without basic education.

Kapedo primary teachers welcome him and yet to report on Monday for official classes, this is encouring and motivation to all Pokot Children to start streaming to school.
