There's not much hope for Blue Team in the mind of PRIVATE MICKEL ANDERS. While he might have a pretty cool gun, and about half the understanding necessary to use it in combat, he makes up for the lack of motivation for killing the Reds with a certain self-awareness that it seems nobody else at Freelancer Training Site 48 has. He likes to tell himself that out of everyone there, he's the smartest. The others would probably disagree.

SERGEANT PRINCETON RILEY has been known on occasion to let things get a little out of hand. Maybe it's the long hours spent baking in the hot sun of Outpost 48-A, or maybe it's the sheer ineptitude of his colleagues, but one way or another this soldier has a tendency to take one step too far. A lot more heavily invested in the war against the Reds than the others, it might lead him to find a little more trouble than he'd like when it comes to making friends.

THE ROOKIE is an enigma. No one is really sure where he came from, or what he's doing here, but simultaneously no one cares enough to find out. Dubbed this title because his name was too complicated for the other Blues to easily pronounce, it happened to stick, despite him becoming a staple in Blue Team and present with the others for almost two years. If you need a surrogate dad, he's your man.

CORPORAL GERRY RICO is an interesting person, someone whose shaky hands and anxious demeanor has somehow helped to become a pretty decent shot with the sniper rifle he obsessively keeps as his own - despite it technically belonging to Red Team as a whole. Though he might appear skittish and neurotic to some when tension rises, he happens to take great comfort in his friend Jett, who usually snaps him back to the moment if his anxiety gets the best of him.

CORPORAL MASON JETT lost faith in the war against the Blues a long time ago. Too many teammates have come and gone, and after so long, it's hard to remember all of their faces. Still holding on to what life he has left at Outpost 48-B, Jett struggles to cope with the impact his service has left on him; but not without time for a dick joke or two.

Red Team's leader, SERGEANT FRANK KASEY. Her most forefront goal is simple: gain victory over those dirty Blues by any means necessary... except through real work. Kasey's leadership of the Reds relies heavily on delegation and avoidance of work - though for the last few days, she's been mysteriously absent from the base, and her subordinates are starting to worry.

The security forces of Project Freelancer assist with day to day muscle for important sites such as the central compound, but also less critical facilities like offsite storage. Seldom are non-Agent teams tasked for recovery objectives, but when it happens, these troopers can get the job done - as long as they have strong leadership.

I'm extremely excited today to announce a project that I've been working on for some time is coming closer to production and publishing.

As a lifelong fan of the Red vs Blue series made by RoosterTeeth Productions, I'm finally acting on my desire to put together a feature length fan-made Red vs Blue season focusing on a ragtag group of misfits that have somehow survived their simulation long enough to catch the attention of a rogue Freelancer.

With highs and lows every step of the way, the forgotten simulation troopers of Freelancer outposts 48-A and 48-B will come to learn the dark truth behind their war and the ones that put them there - as well as the reason why both sides have suddenly lost contact with command.

But not everyone is too happy about unknown quantities meddling with project property, especially when good cannon fodder is getting harder to come by - and another dangerous foe is hunting down Freelancers one by one to claim their AI and equipment. The clock's ticking...
