I’m still alive. We moved and it has been probably one of the most difficult moves we have ever had. On the positive side we now own a house and have our own yard!

Quick update
I’m alive, just low on spoons.
I got my meds back in a little over a week ago and since then it’s been “Go!Go! Go!” on a lot of projects.

One really cool thing we did on our trip was go to Sea Turtle, Inc which is a sea turtle rescue / rehabilitation / conservation / education center. While they help with all sea turtles found in the area they play a huge role in protecting the Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle 💚
I’m hoping to go back sometime for a hatchling release. It has to be an incredible experience.

If you can’t sleep and decide to put on a movie to fall asleep to you should really think about the movie you pick and not just pick one that looks good enough.
Putting on Encanto after just spending a week and a half with my parents who I haven’t seen in years (and before that I went no contact with for some time) probably wasn’t the best idea…
Let’s just say that the movie did not put me to sleep like movies usually do 🤣🤦♀️

I now have 3 pills remaining. For others affected how are you doing? Are you hanging in? I’ve been lucky so far and didn’t have issues with the shortages until now.
I am saving the remaining pills for days I really need them. Days like today where I needed to get the house back in order after having my parents visit and then going on vacation.

I used one of my few remaining pills to help get everything cleaned up after vacation.
It’s almost 7:30 pm and I just made a coffee hoping to extend my productivity. This either is going to work or backfire. Any bets on if I get more done or just pass out?

First day back to “normal” at my place. Which means no more guests and back from vacation. We definitely aren’t back to normal routines at home though. I’m tired from all the travel and people. And on top of everything I’ve finally been hit by the adhd meds shortage. I haven’t taken my ADHD meds in a week now. I have 4 pills I’m saving for an emergency. I might need to use one to get me moving again.

You know how when someone asks or tells us to do something we no longer want to do said thing? Yep, it’s that.
Them: “Tell people you love them.”
Me: “I can tell them that any day I want”
Them: “Wear red or pink”
Me: “Nope I’m going to wear black”
Them: “Watch romantic movies”
Me: “How about a horror movie instead?”
Them: “Valentines is all about love”
Me: “Do you know about the St. Valentines Day Massacre?”

Today has been a day…. TLDR: Smoke detectors woke us up. Had to call 911 and it ended up being just a faulty smoke detector. Rest of day out of wack as a result. We were woken up a little after 8 with the smoke alarms going off. No smoke anywhere but I got everyone out and left the door open. Mind you it was like 26 degrees outside. It stopped soon after. So we went back in an after a bit closed the door again. And sure enough it started back up. So everyone back out. And I googled do I call the regular fire line for this or 911. And I then tried calling the local fire but whatever number it gave me was the local 311 and gave me a terrible automated system that wouldn’t cooperate so I called 911. My husband decided he’d take the kiddo and puppy and stay warm in the car. Which was a better decision than my just wrap him in a blanket option 😆 (but to be honest he probably just wanted to get out of the cold too) Anyway, turns out it was a battery in one of the smoke detectors. Apparently it died and the detector never chirped. So they disconnect it and mention that it could be faulty since it didn’t chirp. So after they leave we get a new battery and reconnect it and guess what! It started back up again a few minutes later 🤦♀️ So I disconnect it again and it stops. So yeah if you live in an apartment that has all the smoke detectors connected check if it’s a battery or a bad smoke detector before calling 911 😆 Also since we were jarred awake kiddo had a really rough day and was whining all day. And any beep I heard all day long made me flinch. And now I’m laying in bed and my tinnitus sounds like the smoke detectors instead of the normal sound it gives me 😒 Oh and because everything was insanity I didn’t take my meds today….
Well we’re getting something. Not sure what it’s classified as. But it’s starting to stick on vehicles. And one of the curbs I walked across with puppy was slick.
