On January 17, 2025, the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment IV-A Batangas Provincial Office, granted NegoKarts and livelihood packages to five beneficiaries endorsed by the Career Development, Alumni and Placement (CDAP) and Community Extension (ComEx) Office.
The awarding of livelihood assistance was led by Dir. Predelma M. Tan, the Provincial Director of DOLE IV-A Batangas Provincial Office, with Ms. Salvacion Kalalo and Mr. Robert Rodelas, both from the Livelihood Program Department and Mr. Frederick C. Badillo (SVP / VP for Finance), Dr. Cecilia C. Pring (VPAR), Dr. Conrado I. Dotong (AVPAR) and Dr. Alex D. Ylagan (CDAP Director).
The Negosoyo sa Kariton (NegoKart) is a part of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) that aims to support the beneficiaries in establishing a sustainable livelihood. It can be used to sell street foods like fishballs, kikiam, cheese sticks, fries, siomai, siopao, and others.
