Long post warning but a wonderful gem worth listening to and looking at.
While driving around in Miami, I stumbled upon a very colorful corner lot that prompted me to stop and take a closer look. The place was full of cultural figures, colorful murals, and plants!
As I was leaving, someone from behind the gate pooped up and asked if I wanted a closer look.
For the next 20 minutes, I did not stop awing at what was behind every corner, sealing, and wall while holding back tears that all of it could be demolished within days...meet Fabina.
Fabian speaks highly of his revolutionary Cuban grandmother Zoila Caridad Guerra. He gives us a tour of how he has transformed her Miami home into a community cultural arts experience in Allapatth, Florida. Listen as he explains his grandmother's history, the present conditions at Esquina de Abuela, and his future desires for the space.
Fabian is raising money to stop the City from demolishing this landmark; please share this video. If you are inclined to help Fabian preserve Esquina de Abuela, visit his GO FUND Me page here:

Today I had a meeting at the Shipyard in Downtown Hollywood; the space was a total vibe. Serving authentic Mexican food by El Rey del Tamal; was delicious!
The environment is colorfully floral with interesting nooks to hang out...right up my ALLIE!
😄Check out the video and see for yourself! Stay tuned #ecoedimpact will be having an event there soon!

I had the pleasure of meeting State Representative Marie Woodson. We had a sitdown during Chen's Medical Back to School event in the City of Hollywood.
Mrs. Woodson is very personable and interested in investing in the people of District 105.
We are looking forward to working alongside Mrs. Woodson for the people of District 105.

Meet Ashley! Ashley is one of the Directors of #eatwellexchange, and I had the pleasure of meeting her at the Miami Gardens Mango Festival. Listen as Ashley explains her impact on the community.
It's cool meeting people setting goals and watching them come to life. Meet Janee, who's taking Tea to the next level with her flavor and fruit-infused drinks. She even has a weight loss tea kit! She is creating a whole community experience around her brand in Liberty City and I love how she has her family involved in her business. Kudos and continued success!
Check her out at UpperTea305.
