The news reports in America are spinning the narrative that these incidents are due to Israeli government policy. Big win. HUGE!
So, . The story goes as follows. Our podcast is hosted by a company named . I recently noticed that someone listened to one of our latest episodes (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/youll-never-believe-this/id1537847193?i=1000522405073)
in a new region titled by Podbean as " , " (image 1). I wrote to the company asking if there were any other regions on their site designated as occupied. They said they didn't know but assured me they based their title on Google's description of the region (image 2). I then wrote this in response:

If you have no other regions labeled occupied, such as which is presently occupied by , then this is behavior because you’re holding to a standard you apply to no other country.
I would urge you to do research beyond when it comes to labeling a region because this issue is much more complicated than your designation gives credit for. Adding the term occupied is unnecessary, an incorrect use of the term, and demeaning to those like myself who live in this region and deal with this struggle on a daily basis. This is from the and it's a good start:
The Status of the
The status of the and can only be decided by agreement between the parties. During the 1990s, Israel and the agreed that the final status of the West Bank and Gaza Strip is not yet resolved and should be decided in negotiations.
Furthermore, the fact that there were no established sovereigns in the West Bank or Gaza Strip prior to the means that the territories should not be viewed as "occupied" by Israel. When territory without an established comes into the possession of a state with a competing claim - particularly during a of - that territory can be considered .
